Worst game you ever bought ?

Megaman Battle Network 4.

I thought after how 3 amazed me 4 would do even better. Instead it was just one big disappointment. Repetitive battles everywhere with little story progress....then it becomes impossible to complete unless you're an addicted hardcore nerd.

The fact a certain part in the game that makes it literally unplayable (it freezes unless you play on an ordinary GBA) gave me another reason to nominate it as the worst game ever.

Mass Effect 2: Bland, repetitive with an unbearable mining minigame.

Vanilla Oblivion was terrible as well, even for its time. A huge step backwards compared to morrowind, and daggerfall. Thankfully mods fixed that game and made it very enjoyable especially Nehrim.

FFX, such a crap game. It's worse because it was the start of the decline of the FF series.

For me, the worst game (or rather, games)I ever bought would be a toss up between Alone in the Dark (the ps2 version, I've never played the ps3 one), or Medal Of Honor Vanguard (also on the ps2).

Killer 7, or Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Awful.

Carmageddon 64. Worst abuse of an IP ever. The whole game was just a broken, unplayable mess of Big Rigs-esque proportions.

Worst game I bought myself? EOE: Eve of Extinction on the PS2... bad bad game :(

Worst game I've had bought for me on the other hand would be Rise of the Robots on the SNES... that's if you can count it as a game.

The worst game would be either Two Worlds or Fallout 3.

mm I'm sure back in the day there were some pretty bad games I bought for PS, PS2, or DreamCast but the most recent and pretty much only bad games I've bought in the past couple years are Tomb Raider: Legend and Gothic.

I was curious about the Tomb Raider series and at least this game just wasn't my cup of tea. I felt like every level was exactly the same, the combat was lame, the puzzles were boring. I think they only sell those games for her chest :( because there was nothing else that I enjoyed in that game.

Gothic was a bit too old and slow for me. I am a huge fan of old RPGs, and when I say old I mean like Baldur's Gate and Fallout. The controls were absolutely terrible and the world didn't really interest me at all. I don't regret buying this as much because I've always wanted to try it out.

Some people in this thread need to play more games :|

Anyway, the worst I've ever bought was probably Lair. I decided to listen to reviews after that purchase.
