That was patched decades ago.Burnout when Paradise hit. Driving back through a city to restart races and challenges was about the dumbest thing I'd seen in a long while.

Was it? Oh well, too late. Too bad for Criterion -- I gave their money to someone else. Maybe they'll think about their mistakes prior to making them next time. And I wonder what the patch would be if I weren't online?
Nope. I'm all for second chances.
If I wasn't. I wouldnt have played the amazing MGS3 after the disasterous MGS2. I wouldnt have played MW2 after the incredibly average MW1 and WAW. Or the awesome Killzone2.
Turning your back on franchises is like holding grudges, I dont do that. Life's too short.

I'm all for second chances, if someone else is paying the tab. Otherwise I usually get pretty ****ing demanding.

Same here. That's why I rent games..... i like to give second chances, but I'm also not naive enough to let them **** me over again. What's that saying, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
So I rent. :P
Of course, the MGS3 demo was fantastic and i didnt have to rent it to see if it was better than MGS3. Same with KZ2. I know u didnt like the demo, but i fell in love with it pretty fast.
I actually thought Killzone 2 was pretty okay outside of the gimped sense of heft.
Renting is fine. I'm playing Heavy Rain through Gamefly right now, and that's the only way I would've played it. Some games are just so busted though that I wouldn't even rent, like Paradise.
