Hm...I think I would say Jet Set Radio Future for Xbox. It came with the Xbox but whenever I talk with people about the original Xbox they don't seem to remember it.
Oh joy! A fellow C64 owner! I spent more time waiting for load times than I did playing games on the tan wonder, but it was still a blast. I loved the Text Adventures, I still have The Swiss Family Robinson memorized, and I loved the Marvel Text Adventres. Blue Max and BC's Tires were awesome! And my early exposure to games like Pac-Man, Asteroids, and Galaga that most people remember on the Atari, Intellivision, or Arcade I played on my C64. I had a friend that had Commodore's even better Commodore 128 model, and I was soooo jealous. LOAD"*",8,1 -Nate-Wow, I'm amazed to see, I've played almost every game on the systems I own(ed).

I'd like to add the original Sid Meier's Pirates! on C64. Countless hours spent.
Dead Ball Zone on PS1

startropics (nes)
legend of dragoon (PS1)
armed dragon fantasy villigust (NES)
vigilante 8 (ps1)

dark forces (PC) (why is this game not considered as classic as quake and doom!?!? you all suck!!)
chex quest (PC) (the best thing to ever come in a ceral box)
lost magic (ds)
arbitor365
Dark Forces for PC was amazzzzzing! the music, and the vault level! oh man i miss that game!
I really miss the wing commander series, don't quote me, but it think wing commander 2 was the first pc game with human voices.
Most of the Enix and Square(soft) games before they jumped in on the Nintendo consoles bandwagon.

They did produce games for PCs before the NES, but for only like two years. And only in Japan for that matter, no U.S. releases for those PC games. Did you mean Epyx maybe? -Nate-[QUOTE="Daavpuke"]Oh joy! A fellow C64 owner! I spent more time waiting for load times than I did playing games on the tan wonder, but it was still a blast. I remember playing skate or die and california games on it, waaay before the other systems. Besides the hundreds of floppy's with crap games, there were also dozens of cIassics! Good times, good times. Completely worth buying an extra table just to hook it up a tv!Wow, I'm amazed to see, I've played almost every game on the systems I own(ed).

ENIX :

"Gun Nac" on the N.E.S a old school shoot them up. Was fun in the 8-bit days. "Slap Fight" Another old school shoot them up in the arcade. "Cyber-Core" for the TG-16 and "Raiden Trad" for SuperNintedo. Both old school Shoot them ups
[QUOTE="Jelley0"][QUOTE="Second_Rook"] Nobody remembers Earthbound? Just about anyone who was an avid SNESer raves about that game and curses Nintendo for not producing a reissue. Second_Rook
Well there apparently weren't a lot of avidSNESers because the game sold very few copys (meaning not many people played it). And hardly anyone would even know it existed if it weren't for Ness being in Super Smash Bros. And even today, there really aren't a lot of people who know about the game, they may know Ness but they probably don't know Earthbound.
You're right dude, only you and your buddies know about it... straight up 1337....I don't think he ever used himself as an example.
Earthbound is not that widely known in real life situations (not internet forums).
I'd say God Hand, Grim Grimorie, Shin Megami Tensei Games before Persona 3.
Jersey Devil(PS1)
Pitfall 3D: Beyond The Jungle(PS1)
These two are some my most favorite underrated games.Kind of a shame no body knows about them.
[QUOTE="Panzer_Zwei"]SQUARE:
The Death Trap
WILL: The Death Trap II
Cruise Chaser Blassty
ALPHA
ALIEN 2
GENESISFragasnap
No kindness for King's Knight?
But I do have to agree with you, Enix and Square Soft were awesome when they made more than just Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.
I think I'd mark their merger one of the more tragic moments in gaming history.
I do have King's Knight Special on the PC-88 though, and also for the Sharp X1.
There are a couple of ENIX pc games that also appeared on the FC like JESUS and The Earth Fighter Rayieza(FC versio has other name) although they weren't really ported by ENIX, and are also different and inferior to their PC counterparts.
Shogo- Everyone remembers FEAR, some remember No One Lives Forever. But no one remembers Shogo. Monolith has been making good shooters for a long time people. Shogo's a good FPS. Awesome mech action too.
Otogi- There are two Otogi games. No one knows what the hell Otogi is. There are people on this site who ask me what kind of game Otogi is and then two days later I get a PM from them and say, "Dude, there's no such game as Otogi for the 360." :| I hurt someone real soon. I do.
"Conquest of the Crystal Palace" for NES. It was the game that featured huge bosses as big as half the entire screen. It was very difficult and frustrating, but extremely cool and fun to play.
Has to be Guardian Legend, well it hsould be one of the better NES games, but im the only one I knwo that even remembers it -.-
King's Field 1 & 2uhminGood choices! I'm in love with the King's Field series. Did you know they made one for PS2 named King's Field: The Ancienty City? Not as good as #2, IMO, but it's a lot better looking graphically, and it's still a lot of fun to play. -Nate-

isn't Ancient City part 4? In any case, I think only 2 and 4 are available in the west, that might be the confusing part.[QUOTE="uhmin"][QUOTE="Emerald_Warrior"] Good choices! Okay, here's the breakdown: King's Field (the original) was only released in Japan for PS1 The Western King's Field is as follows: -King's Field for PS1 (which is actually the 2nd game if you count the original Japanese game) -King's Field II for PS1 (the best one IMO) -King's Field: The Ancient City for PS2 From Software also released a game very similar in style, but not as in-depth or diverse as the King's Fields known as Shadow Tower for the PS1. I hope that helps. -Nate-Wow what a great thread! Okay heres mine.
