crash bandicoot 1,2,3

croc (i loved it despited the low reviews)

medevil 2 (Ps1)

harry potter and the chamber of secrets (i was about 9 playing this game but i finihed everything in it so i still love it)

N64: Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, Mission Impossible, Super Smash Bros, Perfect Dark

PS1: Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, Spyro 1,2,3.

GB: Pokemon Red, Yellow, & Silver.

Wow I feel old.

I spent hours playing Super Mario Brothers when it first came out. So that of course was one of my favorites. I still spent time with my Atari though.

I would have to say my favorite game as a kid was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time for the Super Nintendo. I also spent alot of time playing the Double Dragon and Battle Toads games.

Mine were generally beat-em-ups and shoot-em-ups including:

perfect dark- just as good as goldeneye even better

duke nukem 3d/64 do not get it confused it is the n64s first duke nukem game

doom 64

hexen 64 and quake 1 and 2 all notable releases for the system

ps1- i would say by a long shot need for speed hot pursuit gta and driver were the ones to own for ps1

ps2 same as ps1 even more- madden burnout 007 series and the must have known as gta san andreas'

To stay on topic, when I was 9, my 2 favorite games were in the local bowling alley (Black Tiger and Commando). A year later, I got an NES with Super Mario/Duck Hunt.

Double Dragon, Duck Tales, TMNT, TMNT 2: The Arcade Game, TMNT 3: Manhattan Project, Blaster Master, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Hudson's Adventure Island, Track & Field II, Bad Dudes, Kid Niki: The Radical Ninja, Kings of the Beach, Rad Racer were some of my favorite NES games.

On SNES:

Looks like you were a late bloomer for the PS1 and missed out on some of its earlier games ... :cry: If you liked Vigilante 8 then Twisted Metal 2 is a must play.
