Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land for the original Gameboy. I remember it like it was yesterday. In 1994, I was heading home from the airport with my aunt and cousin, and he loaned me a Gameboy to pass the long drive time. I was hooked ever since, I was born in 1986 though.
What was the first game you remember playing? Mine was Doom for the PC (at the age of 5). I didn't find all the zombies and floating, one-eyed demons scary at all; I thought it was fun running around shooting stuff. FinalDuelyou played doom at age 5? wow. do your parents not care? as for me, i played super mario world as my first game. there wasnt computers out there for me so my parents got me a system!
Friday the 13th on the NES and I love it I got it boxed complete so I can emulate it whenever I damn well please.

similar thing happend to me. a friend of the family let me play on his gameboy. he had two games: tetris and turrican. i think turrican was the first game i played, but it might have been tetris (although i never liked tetris back then).

I was RAISED on classic first person shooters. In total, I've played: Doom, Hexen, Blood, Quake, Wolfinstein, The Shadow Warrior, and Duke Nukem.(Not counting squeals, remakes, and expansion packs)
The first game I purchased, and owned to myself was Spyro the Dragon for the original PlayStation. I did play of plenty games prior to that though, many of which my parents possessed, and I inherited later down the road.
Can't really remember, would have been on the commodore 64 that shows how long ago that was, you had to load the games from tapes!!!!
Probably one of the light gun games that it came bundled with called time traveller or something.
Going through the systems I've had over the years.
Megadrive - Sonic
PS1 -Doom
PS2 -Medal of Honour Front Line
XBox 360 - Elder Scrolls Oblivion
