Super Mario Bros. was the first one I remember, when I was around 3. I could never get past the first goomba, and when I did, it's like my life kinda transformed.
My first game was a puzzle game and then came Mario and Contra. I think I fell in love with Mario the most, I used to play it all day long, my mum used to yell at me for this, I was one stubborn kid in the house, never listened to them, I realized sooner that I have to compromise with my game love so I started to play just for one or two hours a day, My mother was happy with this and would let me play daily! I still can't think about games without Mario.
Among the first to play constantly was Aliens (arcade). I would go every weekend to the local arcade and try to go as far as i could with only one coin (kinda stupid, i know) :)
Crash Bash on Playstation 1 :D I still find it fun actually especially multiplayer and the graphics aren't bad at all for PS1 though after a while it hurts your eyes xD
