Remember, it can only be ina game series and it has to have had at least 3 titles. It doesn't necessarily mean you dislike them, but there isn't really anything special about the title or anything that makes you want to play it as much as the others.

Here are mine:

1. Resident Evil Survivor 2: Code Veronica (PS2) -This was an arcade game (which I think was only released here in the UK)... so as you have gathered by now, it's an arcade game. Thatmeans that it wasn'treally meant fora console. There are a few modes in it, andon the main one (I think)Nemesis chases you around theisland of CodeVeronica... you're also on a timer. I would like this game so much more if you could actually save, but that was the problem... and this is thereason you can't save... it's an arcade game! :P. There was also a mode for shooting loads of, actually, I can't remember what they were, but leeches or something, off a wall and asmany as you can in a time limit. Not exactly a bad game, but it wasn't really made for a console.I want to complete it now, as I never did.

2. Tomb Raider III (PS1)- Aah, yes... Tomb Raider III, the game that is perhaps my least favourite of the entire Tomb Raider series (why else would I mention it in this thread though, to be honest? :P). The save gems are a MAJOR turn off, especially considering how hard TRIII actually is. My least favourite levels are the London levels, mainly Aldwych. Towards the end of the London section I just started to use walkthroughs... it was sending me crazy. And I couldn't figure out how to actually leave the Aldwych level, and I only had to GO somewhere according to the walkthrough, but I had spent 2 and a half hours on it and I had given up... so I used level skip. I don't like using walkthroughs or level skips, so TRIII is proof that it is WAY too hard and frustrating... but then saving on the memory card file with the level skip activated made my game crash... so I tried to level skip all the levels up until the point of London being finished, and I had the same problem... one day I will complete this game... one day. Although, to keep me sane, I might have to complete it with friends :P. I did like the Jungle levels however (besides River Ganges I think it was called...).

3. Grand Theft Auto 2(PS1)- Ilike all ofthe GTA series, but I am going tomention this game anyway becauseit's one of my favourite series. I picked GTA2 because the original I spent a LOT of time on and enjoyed, same with London 1969. I also did the same for GTA2, buteven though it has better graphics and slightly more stuff to do, I think I would stillplaythe original over 2, perhaps because I played GTA from the very beginning!

4. Call of Duty Roads to Victory (PSP) - I know the PSP isn't exactly past-gen (just slightly), but I had to pick one of them and I would say Big Red One is better, even though I think I only completed it once... speaking of which, that has to change. But Roads to Victory didn't really feel much like a CoD game, outside of the menus, looks and overall package... sure, the gameplay is the same, but there is something about it that makes it feel... not like CoD? it's hard to explain. I should also re-play this one too.

5. Guitar Hero Aerosmith (Xbox 360... although I will say PS2, for the sake of this board) - I wanted to mention GH, and most of the games are on the PS2 (I am not sure about 5 or WoR though), and if I had to pick a least favourite I would have to say Aerosmith. I mean, I don't dislike it or anything, it's just that I am only a casual fan of Aerosmith, and all of the songs that I wanted to play on the game (minus VERY few), weren't present. I was going to mention Rocks The 80s, but I will say Aerosmith, because I feel that 80s may be a bit more fun to me as I prefer the songs slightly.

Others:

Driver: Parallel Lines (or if I can count PSP again, '76)
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (not a bad game at all! but out of the original 3, I prefer the first 2)

Those are some of mine. What are yours? :)

I hate to be totally typical here but Zelda II. If it makes it any better, I think the original is my second least favorite.

I would have to say: Zelda Four Swords Adventures (GC), Mega Man Network Transmission (The fall of Mega Man), Metroid 2 (maybe its just the monochrome lol) I'm sure there is more but I have to get to work lol

That just might be the monochrome lol....imo it would be one of the best if it wasn't a GB original game.

Final Fantasy X-2 : This game should never have existed. It ruined FF X.

Final Fantasy XII : I loved the graphics, gameplay (Gambits FTW!) and Ivalice but the story was... political crap :|

Devil May Cry 4 : Shiny graphics that look amazing but all that wonder disappears when half the game is recycled crap.

Devil May Cry 2 : I think the story in this game was about 7 minutes in total :?

Metal Gear Solid 2 : It's got the best MGS story but the gameplay involves a major portion where it's just bomb defusal. And also, Fatman :| (I hate that...!)

Resident Evil 5 : To be frank, I dislike all RE games prior to RE 4. RE 5 was the biggest let down ever. The only thing I liked about the game was its graphics and Sheva.

Jak and Daxter - The Lost Frontier : Sigh, good game but not a good Jak and Daxter game.

Age of Mythology - Titan's Expansion : The Titans were cool but the story, not so much.

These are the games that come to my mind for the moment...

I didnt like FF7 or 8 much, the rest were great. ! liked Parasite Eve, but part 2 kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Super Mario Bros 2 was a pain in the butt.

Medal of Honor: I found underground better.

GTA 2: same reason as you :P.

Driver para lines, and psp version 76. It did not feel as a driver game.

Many of mine would be current-gen games, but no need to talk about those here.

  • Burnout Revenge - Not a bad game, but the traffic checking takes away much of the intensity that made Burnout 3 so great. But if we're talking the entire series, my least favorite would be Paradise.
  • Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends - The original RoN was awesome, but this is almost a completely different game. Big disappointment.
  • Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories - Feels more like a half-assed expansion to GTA III than an actual new game. The story and missions are mostly pretty dull.
  • Metal Slug 6 - Something is missing from this game, it just doesn't feel much like the old Metal Slug games.
  • Super Mario Bros. 2 (US) - Not too bad, but not what I'd expect from a Mario game.
  • SWAT: Global Strike Team - I like the SWAT games on the PC, but the first console game in the series was really dumbed down and boring.

Super Mario Bros. 2 - campy music that was fitting but the game itself wasn't even an original thought. I enjoyed it but not to the degree to most of the other Mario games I've played.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - Now I haven't played part 2 as I hear good things about it mostly but I didn't like this one because it just changed too much about the original on the PS that I loved. Gear didn't provide HP/MP and the judge's rules flat out sucked. I did like the child-like presentation though so it wasn't a total bust. It was fun for a while, but didn't last.

Burnout - Just not as fun as the following game. Didn't really hold my interest much. Burnout 2 though? That game is a keeper and then some.

Pokemon Ruby - good game, but not as great as all the rest I've played. 60% or more of the Pokemon were plain ugly. I just couldn't get into them. And the main characters had white hair. WTF. Otherwise, the game was OK, just not as great as the others.

Super Mario Kart - People are TOTALLY gonna hate me for this one, but I'm not crazy about this game. Battling was fun, but the one player mode was difficult and left a lot to be desired. I did (and still do) appreciate the graphics though. And I like the game simply because it started one of Nintendo's biggest series to date. So no major complaints, but probably my least favorite in the series (my cousin would KILL me if he saw this!).

Metroid, the original. I'm absolutely in love with Super Metroid, Metroid: Fusion, Metroid: Zero Mission, and all 3 Metroid: Prime games. But the first one I can't get into. It's a shame, because it could have been a great Metroid game.

My problem is with refilling your health. It is such a chore to do because the ONLY way to do this is to kill many, many, many enemies over and over again. There are no refill stations, and when you restart after a death or when inputting a password to continue where you left off; you start with only a fraction of your full health. No super giant health packs to refill it quickly, either. And it only gets worse as the game goes on because you obtain more health tanks which are needed. So I end up spending far more time refilling my health than I do actually exploring. Then after a while of this, I just give up and move on to another game.

I agree. RE4 was a great game. I did miss the zombies, but what they gave us was just as good. Unfortunately, RE5 was just too much of a departure from the horror themes of the series. It is a shining of example of the industry leaning TOO much towards online multiplayer. Online multiplayer is fantastic for games that work for it, but RE isn't one of them. Plus the bright & sunny location of daytime Africa just didn't fit.

Do you know what's odd? I think I prefer LCS to GTAIII, and I have got all GTA games when they came out. I don't know, there's something about LCS that I like more :). I'm also shocked that many people dislike RE4 a lot, especially more than RE5. RE5 isn't a bad game at all, but RE4 feels like more of a RE game than RE5 does, mainly because it's darker and stuff. I actually kind of forgot I was playing a Resident Evil game at times during RE5 :P. I still love it though :).

did you play that DLC in the mansion (forgot the name)? frankly that had more of a horror theme to it than the main game in RE5, that alone made it good, though it lacked enemies (essentially the total opposite of the main game, though not in a good way) if you ask me , RE3 was the best one, had the right mix of action and horror and puzzle solving. though I will give Capcom credit, they created a great looking game, and while Sheva's AI was still average , it was better than Ashley and her inability to do anything.

Well, LCS does have more side missions than III, and also more vehicles, most notably bikes. But I thought most of the story missions were boring, and the story itself was forgettable.

For sure. Everyone like to point out Zelda II (which I enjoyed, personally), but no way is it worse than the atrocity that is Spirit Tracks. It's barely a Zelda game at all.

Yeah, it got rid of the entire adventure aspect of the series. There's all this land you can see, but cannot touch. It isn't terrible, but aspects of it feel like a chore. Oddly enough Phantom Hourglass was my favorite game the year of its release.

I love the Ace Combat Series, I own nearly all of them. and honestly I think Ace Combat3 is the worst. I got it for like $8 online and I've only played it 2 times. I just cant get into it. I dont have Ace Combat on gba, but that game isnt really even in the same conversation.

Zelda II = garbage. I own the original "Legend of Zelda" and I've played most of the others, but Link is the worst by far. Just plain junk.

Resident Evil 4 and 5 are both only so so. I prefer the first 2 Resident Evil games, no contest.

Off the top of my head...

Castlevania 64 - A bad transition to 3D.

Crash Bandicoot 3 - Naughty Dog tried to expand upon Crash 2 with innovating ideas which sadly failed in execution.

Final Fantasy X-2 - The gameplay was good, but in terms of story and characters it ruined FFX.

Final Fantasy XII - Once again the actual gameplay was good...but the story and characters were just complete crap. Whoever thought a politics based story was a good idea for a Final Fantasy game really needs to seek medical attention :P

GTA IV - I found most of the story missions to be pretty boring and I felt the game focused too much on the lame story. The graphics were really bland, too.

Klonoa's Beach Volleyball - What more do I need to say?

Mario's Time Machine - The concept was cool....but the game not so much :P

Metal Gear Solid 3 - I know that a lot of people praise this game to death, but I loved the setting of MGS1 and MGS2. MGS3 was such a complete 180, and I've attempted to play MGS3 so many times and I've yet to get through it. It just doesn't click for me.

Escape from Monkey Island - Meh.

Panzer Dragoon - A great game, but it's simply my least favourite of the series.

Phantasy Star 3 - What should have been a great game ends up being average/slightly below average.

Resident Evil 5 - Like someone else said in the thread, I could care less for any of the Resident Evil games prior to 4, therefore I wasn't sure wether to include this or not as it's technically not apart of my 'favourite series'. However, Resident Evil 5 was such a big letdown I had to. The loss of the survival horror aspect was the big stomach-puncher for me.

Sonic...I'm not even gonna bother

Street Fighter IV - It's like Capcom didn't even attempt to make a good game, and instead they just implemented pretty graphics and tried to make the game balanced. I even enjoy the EX series more so than this.

Super Smash Bros 64 - I still play this game every once in a while, although it's pretty outdated when compared to the later two games with the updated character rosters. Not just that, but the fact that it's so easy to pull off unescapable combos that kill the opponent in one go is a big downer. The other two games, especially Brawl, leaned the focus onto smart, technical play rather than cheap, easy-to-pull-off combos that anyone can do.

Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link - Not a bad game, but it's definately my least favourite of the series.

Timesplitters 1 - It hasn't aged well at all IMO.

I agree with some but I am thinking "WHA?!" with other parts of your list. I mean, a well made game is objectional. Street Fighter 4 is a GOOD game. I prefer III and IITurbo, but 4 is still a good game. Same with Smash Bros 64--the deepest of the bunch imo, as the laters were dummied down once the series took off. Metal Gear 3? It has it's quarks but it is still a great game and it is brilliantly directed.

Suikoden Tactics - I know that's not quite fair since it's not really the same as its breathren, but it's still the one I'm picking. I enjoyed the actualy combat and recruiting, but the story, the voice acting, and the creepy eyeless NPC's kind of killed it for me.

Phantasy Star 3 - What should have been a triumphant bridge game between 2 and 4 instead ended up being very average with a poor story and too much scope for its day. Of course, I only count the Phantasy Star series as 1-4, the junk that came later just has the same name.

Final Fantasy XII - I just couldn't care about the boring cardboard cutout characters and the voice acting that sounded like it was recorded inside of a tin can.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms X - Koei took everything great about the series and took a big fat dump on it.

Heirren

I agree with some but I am thinking "WHA?!" with other parts of your list. I mean, a well made game is objectional. Street Fighter 4 is a GOOD game. I prefer III and IITurbo, but 4 is still a good game. Same with Smash Bros 64--the deepest of the bunch imo, as the laters were dummied down once the series took off. Metal Gear 3? It has it's quarks but it is still a great game and it is brilliantly directed.

Well, I personally highly dislike Street Fighter 4 my self. Opinions are opinions.

I agree that Metal Gear Solid 3 is a great game but it's just not for me. I really disliked the jungle setting and it felt too linear and straightforward, more so than the other games of the series.

I completely disagree with Super Smash Bros 64 being 'the deepest of the bunch'. I've participated in MLG tournaments for Super Smash Bros Melee and placed top ten, and I've won several local, small tournaments for Brawl, too. I guess I'm just mentioning that in an attempt to add validity to my opinion, but to me it's a fact that Smash Bros 64 is the least-deepest of the three. I played it competitively for a while, but I got sick of winning over and over simply due to unescapable combos. It felt as if it's just about whoever gets the first hit to start the combo and that's it.

Here's some videos of Isai, here's by far the best Super Smash Bros 64 player in the world, even having beaten all of Japan's best. You'll see that it's just about pulling off combos and that's it. The only 'deep' aspect of the gameplay is attempting to pull tricks or mindgames to actually get the combo started. WATCH the videos and you'll see what I mean...I would beat all of the other plays simply by waiting for them to make a mistake/attempting to pull mindgames to start a combo and then just start an unescapable combo that'd lead to their death. And in the game you can perform 'shield breaking' combos. As soon as someone shields you can pull off the combo on their shield and they won't be able to do anything - not even stop shielding. So it will break their shield and they'd become dizzy (or if your Jigglypuff you'd automically die) and then you can then feel free to pull of an instant death combo on them. The game is just way, way too cheap and reliant on cheap combos. Here's some random videos I picked off Isai playing, watch them:

/watch?v=UokDVGLC48s

/watch?v=hSRCXAb7XLo

Here's a video showing the 'shield breaker' combos I previously mentioned. This video shows them just for Luigi, but if you look at the guy's other videos he has videos for every other character too: watch?v=88okP5DPeFs

I still love the game and it holds a lot of nostalgia for me since I got the game day one, but I simply prefer Melee and Brawl, especially Melee, over it. I respect your opinion though. Eitherway Super Smash Bros 64 is still a great game! :)

Does anyone know why hyperlinks are so messed up on GS now? Seems like I'm not the only one who can't use that feature (I figured it was a problem on my end)...

did you play that DLC in the mansion (forgot the name)? frankly that had more of a horror theme to it than the main game in RE5, that alone made it good, though it lacked enemies (essentially the total opposite of the main game, though not in a good way) if you ask me , RE3 was the best one, had the right mix of action and horror and puzzle solving. though I will give Capcom credit, they created a great looking game, and while Sheva's AI was still average , it was better than Ashley and her inability to do anything.Darkman2007
Lost in Nightmares (the mansion DLC chapter) was great. I too REALLY enjoyed it, but also disliked the lack of enemies. When I first played it (as it was the first of the two DLC's released in the month), I was thinking that they must be longer than people said they were, as there were no enemies for the first 10+ minutes or so (first playthrough, after reading everything and whatnot), but then when it was over I was kind of shocked at the lack of enemies. Desperate Escape on the other hand is okay, but not great. Out of the whole game (Desperate Escape), the rooftop bit at the end was the best... but it was nowhere near as good as the main story of RE5, and LiN (personally). My only problem with RE3 was the fact that seemed to be SO much backtracking... it also made the location seem REALLY small. But that's not all bad, it's still a really fun game. RE2 is my favourite of the older ones :). On the topic of Sheva, I didn't really like having a partner. I mean sure, when it first came out it was an awesome feature, because you could play with your friends, but when all that wears off... you wish you were on your own, or at least have the ability to disable her as an AI partner, so it would just be Chris or Sheva alone (leave the cutscenes how they are though, as it would be too much work). I felt Ashley was a lot more interesting than Sheva, probably because **spoilers, kinda, if you haven't played RE4... I guess :P..... you had to protect her (this is what everybody didn't like! lol), and not only that, but she wasn't with you all of the time. It felt tense and exciting when you met up with her again, only for her to get kidnapped yet again.
Well, LCS does have more side missions than III, and also more vehicles, most notably bikes. But I thought most of the story missions were boring, and the story itself was forgettable.M3tr4nk0
I know where you are coming from. Although, I thought the story wasn't too bad, I enjoyed it and the missions to go along with it. Looking back, I thought it was funny/cool how they didn't even need to have Claude from GTAIII speak... but now, it's kind of annoying, to be honest. There were also helicopters if you remember (they took them out of the game for some unknown reason, although I managed to steal one on a mission and save it in my garage... I'm happy with that :P. Flying around in the GTAIII city (well, LCS is slightly different with add-ons and whatnot) was cool. There are some games I haven't played (or played properly) on your list, such as Street Fighter and Castlevania 64, but I found your post really interesting. I am all for opinions, but just wanted to talk about the ones I personally would have nowhere near my least favourite list :P. Crash Bandicoot 3 - To be honest, I can't go wrong with any of the original 3 Crash games... they are all excellent. But I felt that maybe Crash 3 was the best of those 3. The locations were awesome, it had great, new, fun game modes and features, and an awesome menu screen which was better than the last two (where you run around). I felt it really worked upon all Crash games and it did it's job well done. GTAIV - I know what you mean about some of the missions being off, but I still found the game to be enjoyable. My main problems with GTAIV was the fact that it was too serious and not as many jokes. The game also wasn't as over the top, mission or gameplay, wise, as the other GTA games, especially San Andreas. Hopefully the next GTA will address all of the problems with GTAIV though. But I disagree, I think that the graphics were pretty good for its' time! :) they're still decent now, although they probably fit in with the "average" graphic games of today these days, but it is over 3 years old. MGS3 - This is perhaps my favourite of the MGS games. I know where you're coming from though, and of course I respect that :). A Jungle setting doesn't really sound like the most exciting location for a video game (it took me a long time to appreciate Tomb Raider III's). My only problem (and a lot of others) with MGS2, was the fact that you used Raiden for 3/4 of the game. I don't particularly dislike the character, it's just that I like Snake so much better. It was like when you had to use Kurtis Trent in Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness for a few levels... disliked it. Lara is the star of Tomb Raider, just like Snake is the star of MGS. Resident Evil 5 - I understand. The game was too colourful and not scary at all for it to be a REALLY successful RE game. Nighttime/lightning and rain/misty skies/occasional daytime/morning is what makes RE. RE5 was pretty much just really bright and sunny. Some sections also felt painfully long with no cutscenes. I still enjoy the game though, but not as good as RE4 in my opinion. Sonic is a kind of hit and miss game. I haven't played too many Sonic games, but the ones that I have played, the original and 2, I have played to death. They're fantastic games :). If you need a Sonic game to try again, try Sonic 2. Perfect blend of gameplay, locations, music, length and boss fights :). But of course I still respect your opinions, just wanted to talk about those games a little bit :).

tbh every RE game at the time had alot of backtracking, RE1 was full of it.

and here is another game, Virtua Fighter 1 , I know its the first one, and thus I give it credit for that (and the innovation it had) , but its still the worst, especially the Saturn version which was really kind of shoddy.

Crash Bandicoot 3 - I agree! All three of the original Crash games are excellent. Even if Crash Bandicoot 3 is my least favourite I've still completed it at least fifty times. I enjoy the previous two games a lot more though due to some of the 'innovating' changes Naughty Dog made to the game:

-As I said before, the game is way, way too easy. The last thirty or so times I've completed the game I haven't died once (no joke). It's funny I mention this actaully since a friend of mine has recently been playing Gears of War 3 (he got an early copy) and he claims it's a lot easier than the first two games. It seems that popular game series often end up becoming easier with later releases in the series in order to make the game more acessible (therefore being much more likely to produce better sales).

-I was never a big fan of the power-ups. Like most of the additions to Crash 3, they're just gimmicks. They felt badly implemented, and apart from the belly-flop technique they were never even required in the game whatsoever, even if you're going to 100% it. When I first played through the game I thought the fruit bazooka was pretty neat, but seeing as it's never actually needed in the game, I was pretty bummed. At first I thought to my self "They must've included it to make the game a lot easier for kids", but I soon proved my self wrong as you can't get the power-up until you've beaten the fourth warp room anyway (aka near the end of the game). I thought the ability that allows you to glide in mid-air was cool at first, but once again, when I realised it serves no purpose whatsoever (i.e it's not required for anything) I came to the conclusion that was also a gimmick. The best power-up was the ability to sprint. The aspect I like the most about the Crash games are the fast pacing, so I found this power-up to be an awesome addition. Not just that, but it was actually useful since it made it possible to get platinum relics/developer time relics in the time trials.

-The main thing I dislike about the game: the medicore Coco and vehicle levels. Admittedly I did like the motorcycle levels. They were fast and fun (which is what Crash is best at), but they did become a nuisance when your trying to break all the crates, because you can't turn the motorcycle around in case you missed any, which can easily happen. This forces you to restart the level and try again, because there are no checkpoints and you actually can't die in these levels anyway. The plane levels where you're objective is to shoot down blimps define the term mediocrity. They're definately not terrible by any means, but they're definately not very enjoyable either. It's annoying that the vertical controls are inverted, too, and unlike Crash 2 in jet-pack levels, you can't change them in the options menu. The speedboat levels, accessible only by Coco, are by far my least favourite levels. I just found them to be extremely tedious and they can also be a nuisance when attempting to break all the crates since the levels are quite large. Lastly, but not least, are the levels where you ride the tiger cub named Pura. They're basically the same as the warthog and polar bear levels from the previous two games. I like these: good level design and the fast pace = fun! :)

It's still a great game that I enjoy playing every now and then. I only tend to play the PAL version though, because compared to the US/Japanese versions of the game the difficulty level is higher (although the game is still way, way too easy as I've already mentioned) and Crash controls a lot better.

Anyway, I respect your opinion! :) I'd imagine there's a lot of people who view Crash 3 as their favourite of the trilogy, probably because they'd like all of the additions the vehicle levels and the power-ups. Oh, and you like the warp room? Haha, I've never liked the warp room in Crash 2 or 3! I just never understood what the purpose in having the player walk about when selecting the levels was for. I've always greatly preferred the world map concept that was used in the original game. I always find it fun to look around the world maps in games as there's usually a lot of detail put in and even sometimes you'll spot little easter eggs and the such! :D Heh, after typing that out I've just remembered something! In the beta version of the game the world map was actually done in 2D and it's actually really cool. I've tried googling for it quick but with no luck. I'll message you the picture of it when I eventually find it! :)

GTA IV - Yeah, I wish they would've stick with the San Andreas style. The game was far too serious and focused too much on the (in my opinion) uninteresting story. I found that a lot of the story missions were just go from point A to B, escorts, awkward shootouts...The typical, boring stuff. I found the controls to be good for the most part, but the driving and the shooting felt awkward. What did they improve upon with this game? Well, the fist fighting was more enjoyable this time around and the fact that there's no longer any load times when entering buildings was awesome...But that's honestly all I can think of. The graphics weren't terrible, they were decent at the time, but the game looked quite choppy and everything in the distance was really blurry. I understand that it's a sandbox game and to make it run without slowdown they're going to need to make cutbacks, so the engine works by having extremely low detail for everything in the distance. However, everything in the distance always looked really blurry to me. It felt as if I always playing too far away from the screen.

MGS3 - If only I had a pound for everytime I've heard someone call it their favourite of the series :P It is a fantastic game, there's no denying it. I just really couldn't get into it. However, I must admit that I never beat the game like I did the others in the series....So it's pretty unfair for me to be calling it my least favourite of the series when I haven't fully experienced the game like I have the others. I'm picking up the soon-to-be released MGS HD collection so I'll give the game another chance then! :)

Contrary to most people - including you :P - I enjoyed playing as Raiden. I loved fighting alongside Snake as it gave a new perspective on him that we would've never gotten had we not been able to see him through Raiden's eyes.

Resident Evil 5 - Agreed...The loss of the survival horror aspect just really ruined it for me. Sure, Resident Evil 4 added more action elements than your typical survival horror, but it was still an actual horror game overall. The game can still provide some fun (who doesn't love blasting zombies in the head with a shotgun?), but it's definately my least favourite of the main series.

Sonic 2 - Completely agreed. Sonic 2 is a fantastic game, and it's funny you mention it actually since I've been playing it a lot recently. I don't like it as much as the other main 2D Sonic's (1, 3 and CD) though...But whatever, you can't go wrong with any of them! :)

I'm gonna end this post by saying I respect your opinions! :) And typing all of this out made me think: I guess no game in the world, no matter how popular or innovative it is, isn't going to please everybody.

Mortal Kombat 4- Thought it was bad compared to the 2D, and wasn't as good as the 3D MKs

Resident Evil 5- I played 4 first, loved it, I played the other 3 and zero after, and thought they were better. Played 5, couldn't even play it for half an hour. I might get back to it one day..

Metroid 2- like the other guy said, the monochrome must be it, they should remake it.

GTA 4- I liked it alot, beat it 100% 3 times but I like all of the others soooo much better, especially san andreas.

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops- Felt so repetitive.

Super Mario Bros. 2- Who wouldn't hate?

I don't hate it, I love the game! I fully admit it's not as good as SMB 1 & 3 and SMW. But it's still a very fun 2D platformer, IMO.

Very long, awesome post that would be too long to quote! :D - Ashley_wweSpikeyAss777
That was a great read :). Crash - Yeah, developers do try to keep things fresh though :). 2D? that's awesome... can't wait to see it :D GTA IV - I understand and totally know what you mean :). Let's not forget though, that is is the GTAIII of the new gen. They were trying stuff out and seeing if it worked. I think it's safe to say expect a lot more crazyness in the "Vice City" of this gen :D. Can't wait for it. MGS3 - I am picking that up as well, and I can't wait to replay them all :). Let's also remember that if you had a lot of bad luck with a game the first time around, it may be less enjoyable. Try to go in with low expectations and play it through to the end, you may change your mind! :D. If you don't I am sure you will at least appreciate it :).

I have it, and had the PS2 version , from what Ive played, the PSP version has more slowdown , though Id say it looks a bit better because the PS2 version is basically the same game stretched to the big screen.

[QUOTE="Darkman2007"] I have it, and had the PS2 version , from what Ive played, the PSP version has more slowdown , though Id say it looks a bit better because the PS2 version is basically the same game stretched to the big screen.JuarN18
It does, and the city looks great with those colorful buildings and all

well , Liberty City was kinda dull , but Vice City was indeed colourful , I liked it. now we just have to wait for a return to San Andreas and everything is complete.

Hopefully, with the simplistic driving controls of last gen too!
