The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.VGobbsesser
Onoes it is VG!! Run for your life!
Most dissapointing game: Spider Man 1 :(
I think it was finding out that the Genesis version of MK3 wasn't an exact port of the arcade version. I spent weeks memorizing the key presses for the Ultimate Kombat Kode for when I beat the game and as soon as I beat the game I realized it never gives you the chance to put the code in to unlock Smoke.
So I had to get a Playstation...
And then I got a Saturn just for Ultimate MK3...that one finally satisfied me.
[QUOTE="NEOSPARKING"]rogue galaxy for 20 bucks its not even worth one ..PS2gamer1013
Does anyone else agree with this?
No the game was fun.
Star Ocean: Till the end of time.
Reasons? Well, I actually liked it at first, but once it hit the plot twist at the end.....bleh. :/
The Suffering series.DiabeticDood
It was a decent game that could of been better. Silent Hill > Suffering
Majora's Mask and Super Paper Mario. They're not bad, just they weren't as good as their predecessors
Halo 2. I camped out for it, beat it in one night, and then vomitted. The game was easy, the AI sucked, the aim assist and hitboxes were screwed, and the online was lopsided. Not even 1/20 the game that Combat Evolved was.SmashBrosLegend
I think it could of been better too. But the game is so much fun especially the co-op.
Assassin's Creed. Way too overated and I expected much more out of it. It wasn't bad, just not great in my opinion. Luckily I resold it for the same price I payed.VVatson
If I had bought the game I would have to agree. Its fun but I wanted more complex fighting and stuff.
Mortal Kombat : Shaolin Monks.
Hard as hell for me to find it, I got bored of it straight after I beat it, which took a couple hours, it was too easy, the multiplayer sucks. Co-op? I guess it's ok, but I never found anyone to play it with me. Waste of 30$.

Yeah...Spiderman 1.Idon't know if it was the game or me having big expectations...
Halo 2, what an overrated overhyped pile of fecal matter that game was.iwilson1296
I didnt even find it disappointing after playing Halo 1, which is piece of $#%&
my biggest disappointment is in Half Life because i thought it was a game from outer world thanks to its hype but i found its a game with generic explosion in the lab and so on story.
I'm surprised some of the games I'm reading. Whoever said Xenogears is the most shocking...I can't even believe anyone in their right mind could be disappointed by Xenogears.
In any case, I was absurdly disappointed with Resident Evil Survivor. I built it up in my mind to be this awesome game, but it ended up being a crapfest. I still purchased it, mind you, but it was crap nonetheless.
Probably Jade Empire, Kingdom Hearts II or Final Fantasy XII, although Jade Empire was more my fault than anything, building it up in my own mind to expectations it could not meet. I would also throw in WoW Burning Crusade as it changed the game for the worse imo and was basically unfinished upon release, with gear messed up beyond belief and endgame raids that didn't even seem tested yet. They fixed it later of course, but for about 2-3 months it was in that statekfjl
While I haven't played Jade empire or KH2, I'm a bit surprised that FF12's there.
But that's just me. As for disappointing games, I THINK I mentioned Dark Cloud 1, but I'll repost to be safe.
Dark Cloud 1 had a clunky combat system, NO voice acting, cardboard characters, a rather weak story, and the frigging WATER SYSTEM. Thankfully, Dark Cloud 2 is a MAJOR improvement, IMO.
