Your opinion on Starcraft II and South Korea? :P

Do you think Starcraft II will have the same impact, integrating a video game as a sport? or will they still continue with Starcraft(I)?

I think they will stick to the original, That would be like changing the national sport form Football (Soccer) to Rugby. Although maybe further down the line there may be a switch. I suppose it all depends on if the Korean Starcraft league guys like it or not in the end.

I assume it will over time, But it will not happen right off the bat.

So Within a span of 5 years is what I place my bet on.

I was just in Korea for a month and they were advertising the heck out of Starcraft 2, so I bet they will eventually.

Both. They'll continue to play the original, incorporate SCII during the events, and than eventually stick with it.ASK_Story
