1.Halo 3/Halo4

Perfect story conclusion to an amazing trilogy, with depth and feeling. Graphics are great. Voice acting is fantastic. And gameplay is perfect, everything from the online, to the map creation, to the custom games and of course the brilliant campaign which is amazingly fun in co-op.

2.Uncharted 2

Everything from the characters, the puzzles, voice acting, controls, story and gameplay is everything you'd want in a perfect experience, shocked me in 2009, shocks me in 2014. This is a brilliant game.

3.Bioshock Infinite/Bioshock 2

Incredibly unique style of gameplay, with a fascinating world to explore and understand. Visuals are great! Characters and voice acting are great! and the story is fucking outstanding, highly recommend.

4.Portal 2

Unique and quirky yet nothing short of a masterpiece, this truly is innovation in video gaming, and its overall presentation is incredible with a fantastic ending.

5.Fallout new vegas

A video game that nearly lets you do anything you want with no restrictions, the ability to even kill main characters is bizarre! and yet its one of the most funnest I've ever played!

6.Far cry 3

Beautiful, vibrant and packed with plenty of the things to do! top that off with a map creator, excellent voice acting and a overall great experience thats easy to recommend to anyone.

7.Pokemon emerald

Endless hours of fun! and never holds your hand! how can anyone deny a pokemon game as great as this? it also has an entertaining story, which is always nice.

8.Assasins creed 2

A excellent with a terrific protagonist, and superb accent and charisma to go with it. The gameplay and story are also nothing less than fantastic.

9.Dead space 2

Excellent visuals, excellent tone, excellent characters and a shit tone of fun......Dead space 2!

10.Infamous

Whilst not as outrageous as prototype, infamous has excellent graphics and superb gameplay with interesting characters to back it up, did I also mention that its alot of fun and has a mind-blowing ending?

In no particular order:

Skyrim (Daedric armor and weapons, sweet killcams, and archery...yeah, I love this game)

Far Cry 3 (A lot better than Far Cry 2; the bow is cool, but I kinda suck at using it. AMR FTW.)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Very addictive and very classic; if you don't like this game, I recommend getting your brain checked :P)

Call of Duty: World at War (My favorite CoD campaign forever; no modern warfare crap will ever surpass W@W's campaign for me)

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (Platforming and very addictive gunplay; has a very Indiana Jones feel to it)

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (The aim sensitivity is stiff even when set to max, but I appreciated the feel of newness)

The Last of Us (A masterpiece from Naughty Dog that will be remembered for years to come)

Deus Es: Human Revolution (An awesome primarily stealth oriented game that I usually end up just switching to run and gun sooner or later: also has a sweet crossbow)

Metro Last Light (I love post-apocalyptic games, and I never played something like it before; was definitely worth my $40)

Crysis 2 (It has lots of shooting. I like that. :P)

Honorable mentions:

Sniper Elite V2 (Dat x-ray killcam)

Crysis 3 (would have made top 10 if it had more than just seven missions and didn't have a pain in the ass boss at the end; the bow outclasses all the guns IMO)

CoD Classic (CoD 1 downloaded on PSN; now only if I could get CoD 2 on PSN)

CoD 3 (first FPS I got; fell in love with the genre ever since; I first had it on the Wii before I got it for PS3)

Far Cry 2 (Like I said, FC3 beats it in almost every way. Despite its overly brown landscapes, bullet sponge enemies, and incessant driving, I can still find a little fun in this game. Also: kickass crossbow with explosive bolts and double barreled shotty)

Spec Ops: The Line (Psychological consequences for the player; it makes you think about your actions. At least the enemies go down in just a few shots, unlike FC2's enemies :P)

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Endless fun of blowing everything up with C4 and sniping with a bolt action sniper rifle)

Call of Duty: Black Ops (Lots of fun in MP after MW3 came out; owning noobs was too fun, and endless fun in Zombies, especially Kino der Toten)

Tomb Raider 2013 (Would have gone on my top 10, but ran out of room)

Max Payne 3 (Just a completely awesome third person shooter; Max is a funny guy too)
