-The first time I saw Super Mario Bros. over a neighbor's house, and then finally getting my mom to get me an NES for Christmas. I had played games for several years before that in arcades, home computers and Atari, but the NES was what took it to the next level and made it a full-blown addiction.
-Being main tank for a WoW raiding guild and finally beating a huge boss for the first time after weeks of trying. To me there's no better feeling in video games than the post-victory celebration of beating a big boss or completing a raid instance you've been working on for months and having everyone cheering over Ventrillo and taking screen shots, and being the tank puts you right in the thick of the action. 50 years from now if I'm still alive, when I think back about good times had in video games, the first thing that will come to mind will be WoW victory celebrations. It would probably be my favorite personal achievement too; going from beyond ignorance of the game to being in that position took a lot of work and learning.
-That moment in Star Wars: KOTOR. That's the only time in a video game where I almost fell off my couch out of surprise. FFVII would have probably been the same way if I didn't know what was coming, but even though I more or less knew in advance, it still had a heavy impact itself.
-Zelda OoT, just the whole experience from start to finish. It still ranks as my favorite game and favorite console gaming experience. It's the only game I've ever played where I got really sad at the end simply because it was over.
There's a ton, but if I had to narrow it down it would be those.
