I read the news, but I'm still not sure how to find y'all once I load up Nquake (which is useable on its own, right?). Also how long will it go till? Because I;'m still not home yet and I know you guys start in 10 min or so.
I dunno if I am still considered to get the emblem but I think I played with some GS users out there.tmaclabi
I had a different server work for a few minutes then it crashed never had the fort one work
Wow seems you guys really hit it off after the 1on1 matches :PXenoLairlol...looks like lots of fun from what I can read :)
So, we had a decent turn out for game night, with about 40 people joining the chatroom, and many trying to get the nQuake game working, and succeeding. If i recall seeing you trying to join and falling out of the Quake server with your GameSpot username that night, I've granted the emblem for the attempt!
Any of you have any cool moments you'd like to share if you haven't already?
Also, I am trying to recall if any of the following peeps used another name ingame. Let me know that name so I can add the emblem.

I edited my blog about the stuff that I recall happening during this night. Feel free to share yours in my blog or here.
MVP went to deershadow for his marathon, playing lots of GS users all in a row!
Who ended up winning the bounty btw?
I might get around to the trivia when I have time, even though I ended up participating in the game night anyway, just kind of tired right now

I am sorry Jody if I didn't put a name or my username while playing Quake, it was my first time so I dunno these things but I played on a server called Fragbait or something ;)
Another Game Night missed due to late info/time of day issues from different time zones. I give up on Game Night I swear. Middle of the week is a useless time to pick too, some of us have jobs.
Turnout could have been over a hundred with a bit more planning, and on Saturday (would have been Sunday for Aussies).

The time chosen was probably the most ideal for people in the USA, since even with a Job I managed to get home in time to play (and I work a little late too), and East coasters have it the best due to the time difference making it later for them. Satuday evening may be a time others have issue with due to potential social obligations, I know I don't spend many saturday evenings at home these days.

I'm in the UK, the night ran on till 2am for me. It can't be perfect for everyone.[QUOTE="Dirk13"][QUOTE="sequekhan"]Another Game Night missed due to late info/time of day issues from different time zones. I give up on Game Night I swear. Unless it's GS UK specific or somesuch, it's GS America and really since we're playing the staff, we're working around "their" job scheduels, which in turn is most ideal for those in the rest of the USA. If you're anywhere else, well that's tough melons, but yeah, it cant be perfect for everyone, and I really would have trouble seeing a valid argument as to why a different country other than the one GS is based out of should be given greater consideration for "personal scheduels".

It can't be made perfect for everyone, I agree. But they could atleast keep it on weekends like on Sat. and Sun, so that even if East Coaster's have to wake all night they could do so. They wouldn't have to worry about waking up early for school, clooeges, jobs etc.
