GUFU Confessions.

I once tried a Demo of MGS 2 and never played the game again. Until a couple of months ago when I bought one on PS2 because of you guys. Then after the most tdeious dialouge I've ever heard in a game, with the most over the top redicilous voice I've ever heard in a game (That would be Solid Snake). Then I played the game for 10 minutes before deciding it was about as good as the dialouge at the start hinted.

Sorry guys, MGS must be one of the most over rated franchises ever.

The only FF Game I've ever completed above 90% was FFX, then only two I've played more than a few hours was X and X2.

I would not care for one single second if Starcraft 2 was cancelled.

I don't have the first clue about the story in MGS, I tried asking around about it, but no one else seems to have th first clue about it either.

And I have no problem with picking up on stories in games, even those that took more than 1 year to make... :?

...The MGS series was the game that made me drop my Sheep-ish fanboy ways.

...first was MGS1. Then, MGS2. Those two games made me change my way of thinking and see the PS2 through something other than the eyes of a Nintendo Yoshi-hugging, Goomba-humping fanboy. :P They're LIFE CHANGERS! Go back there and try it again. You're missing out, man.

Confession-

• GTA:SA bored me to death. I just got tired of the franchise. I don't really care about GTAIV (sorry TVB)
• I don't really care much for FPS now. Crysis even failed to make me excited for it. I wasn't excited for Halo 3, but I did enjoy paying it.
• I don't care for most Western RPGs. KOTOR bored me, Oblivion bored me, and Fable did also. The only WRPGs I liked are MMO's or Morrowind.
• I didn't use my SNES to its full potential, ie, didn't play Zelda:Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, etc.
• I never owned or played a sega system until Dreamcast.

The only MGS game which had a good, well presentedstory was Portable Ops. MGS 2 was extremely confusing and basically required a TON of backstory to understand, same with MGS 3 and to a lesser extent MGS 1.

I like games with stories that make you think as much as the next guy, but I don't want to (literally!) give myself a headache trying to wrap my head around it.

I've played the following:

Cobra Mission (great game)
Metal and Lace: Battle of the Robobabes (sucked)
Sexy Beach 3 (sucked and blew...literally)

I haven't really enjoyed anything SE has made since their PS1 days :?

I still enjoy PSO & Diablo II more than most games out today.

I have a really big disinterest in racing games, unless the name contains Mario and Kart in the title. Burnout is starting to lose it's passion as well for me...

I enjoy grinding in RPGs... literally... I have no idea why... but I will not, repeat NOT ever play an MMO game. (I have to stop sometime with grinding because it will get boring someday... and MMOs never end.)

Also... I hate shooters. Yes... all shooters except for Halo. (Haven't played HL 2) Reason being... They get too reptitive and do nothing new for me... all of it's the same... and after a while... you're done with it. (FYI.. I don't consider Metroid Prime an FPS, but if you do.. I don't hate MP games.)

It's just it's like an rpg light. If you've played Baldur's Gate one or two, you'llknow what I mean. The level of complexity just isn't there in KOTOR - gameplay wise that is.

I also played Sonic the Hedgehog (360 version). I have to say, it's not that bad. There may be some control and camera issues here and there, but overall, it's not that bad. The reviewers underrated it. Also I played Shadow the Hedgehog. Not bad, eitherblizzvalve

I played Sonic for 360, Bomberman Act Zero, and Hour of Victory.

Didn't think the first 2 were that bad, HoV however...deserves all itscritism it gets.

I have never played anything on a sega system, ever.

If Blizzard was bought up by EA and follow the way of Westwood into EA oblivion I would not care for one second, but I would still complain about it since it would be more fuel to my ongoing anti EA propaganda campaign.

Yet I still buy and like a lot of EA games. :(

It was okay but i'd rather watch the real thing. the interactions are amusing the first time but get old fast.

honestly i thought Cobra Mission was a much more complete gaming experience for that genre.

I'm getting pissed at the fact that Phantom Hourglass just throws you into the game with very little plot. It seems rushed. Other than that it pwns.
I just can't enjoy MMORPGs. Too boring.
I love Oblivion, but I can't get addicted to it like I want.
I onlygot a GameCube 2 years ago for Christmas (I'd begged my parents for years, and by the time I got it, it was near the end of its lifespan :().
I really don't like the PS3 and think that it deserves to fail because of Sony's mistakes.
