GUFU Invitations and Welcome thread V 2.0

Um, guys? This is going to sound lame, but I don't know if I really belong.

Maybe I just need to chill, hold off on posting for awhile, let TGS pass, watch the systems release and make better-informed, more rational judgments. But every week I see more and more reasons to jump on board the 360 wagon, and fewer reasons to hitch my trailer to any other platform (a mixed metaphor I guess, but not too painful). I know my comments reflect this. I wouldn't say that my posts are ignorant (maybe I'm being too generous with myself?), but I'm losing my ability to be even-handed. I wear that tag... I'd want to wear that tag as long as I'm a member. But with no apparent reason (in what is becoming my completely fanboyish mind) to be interested in PS3, and no possibility of interest in Wii, I find myself making more and more extreme statements.

I heard once that Diggyzoom actually won an award for suggesting his own dismissal, because he didn't want to make GUFU look bad. I'm not looking for any kind of copycat action; I just think it would be far more embarrassing for both of us (I mean, all of you, and especially me) if things reached a fever pitch and you actually had to ask me to leave. I know it's always better to quit than be fired. Maybe I'm just not ready for this. From where I stand, I'm running out of ideas and reasons to be behind two of the competitors in this generation, and every passing day makes me feel more certain that one of them, in particular, is playing the next generation the way I want to see it played. Help! Your advice? I am completely open to the idea of leaving the Union for the sake of maintaining its fanboy-free ethic (which I respect more than you know). I'm not open to the idea of any awards; reducing my own embarrassment is as selfish a reason as I can think of. Unless Fuzzysquash was just joking when he said that that was the reason for Diggy's Silver award. But I'm 100% serious, regardless. You guys have a good thing going here, I don't want to tarnish your reputation.

It's fine if you prefer one console over others. Hell, I don't think anyone here values all console equally (I like the 360 more than the Wii and PS3), but as long as you don't think your preferred console is the best and that anyone who disagrees with you is an idiot, then you're GUFU material.

WeeWee , chill out man .............if you want to go with the 360 , that if fine . You can criticise the other companies faults all day long as long as you back up your arguments and don't blindly bash the others in an ignorant way . There are all types of fanboys in here so just stay here and enjoy yourself .
