Personally, I do not think this is a good thing for any company, it is like when sega hired the people to throw Psone's off the roof of a building and tape it :?

This reminds me of the time when people on SW thought that Sony was responsible for Sega's downfall by having shills secretly spreading rumors about Dreamcast defects. :|

I heard they were lying about the PS2's power to make the DC look bad.

Yeah, but that was all just rumour. PS1 already had a solid fanbase, and Sega's consoles did not. They didn't have to lie about the PS2's power, either way. Sega never had too many sales, and Sony had a very good start, followed by a good continueation. This topic's content does look very suspicious though.
