I don't hate it at all. I just wish it was a little bit cheaper, since I'm so strapped for cash. But if I could afford one comfortably or someone gave me one, I'd be all over that. Â
I don't hate Playstation, but I hate Sony. They are so worried about multimedia that they forgot about gaming. They did the same thing with the PSP, and look what happen to that. Aside from that, PS3 will be getting some great games in 2007, and I will most likely buy it then.

Sony has never been about the games. This is not a sony hate thread, This is a PS3 hate thread, That is the way I worded it on purpose. Sony doesn't matter right now, only the PS3.
I don't hate the PS3 at all. I think it's a potentially great console. Despite all the "$600! TCHBO!" stuff that's going around, I think it's a bit expensive, but it's worth it for what you get for the money. I've never really liked the Playstation brand that much because they don't bring out the kinds of games that I'm really interested in (JRPG's just don't click well with me). But, I'm still hoping that the PS3 will do things a bit different this time around.
I actually think the PS3 is quite cool. It's just the price is a **** and I won't be able to get it for a while. But, games like Tekken, MGS4, and others are gonna make me HAVE to get it ;)
I don't hate the PS3, but there just aren't many games I want on it, especially at launch. Oh, and the controller annoys me, but that's a different story.
I'm so annoyed at all the hate nowadays. All this senseless "Rrrrrrrrridge Racerrrrrrrr!!!!!!!" spam, and the "giant enemy crab" crap (and he was perfectly right to say it was based on ancient Japanese battles, as that doesn't mean you can't throw in some sci-fi elements too), all these "CGI" complaints, all these complaints about price, how 1080p is useless and overkill, how the 360 is much more powerful in every way, etc. It's one of the main reasons why I decided to come here.Â

Anyways, I like the ps3, because it has awesome exclusives.
on one hand , i can understand the fanboy hate , because they are nothing more than anti-sony-fanboys .................. i am talking about ones who wouldn't buy it regardless , the ones who would buy the hd-dvd add-on just because they claim to hate blu-ray and think they can help kill Sony ........ or the people who think they are on a mission to convert people to their console by dragging Sony through the mud
but at the same time , i can understand some of the industry criticism with it being $100 more than it probably should be on each version of the ps3 due to the competition thats already out , its an expensive product no doubt
i can safely say that i neither love the ps3 nor do i hate the ps3 , its not even out yet :wink: .............. but i can say that i am looking forward to it ................... i liked the playstation , i liked the ps2 even more , i don't have any reason to be negative yet

I meant that the only companies that have been about creating games have been SEGA and Nintendo. Sony is known for their TVs, Camera's and other electronic equipment. They arent a true video game company.Â
I don't hate SONY or the PS3. I do have some problems with some decisions they have made to do with the PS3, but overall I'm excited about the console. I won't buy one until late 2007/2008 though. Lack of quality software early on and a high price tag are the main reasons I won't be buying one for a while.

Sony killed itself with the price of the ps3. A large portion of the PS market, as with all consoles, has been the casuals. 600$ is simply too high of a price to stay competitive IMHO.

Again, this is not a sony hate thread!!!!!! And for the record PS2 debuted at $500 for the first 3 days, everyone bought it, not to mention how every system has been price gouged for christmas, with people gladly paying upwards of a grand for the PS2, 360, Nintendo DS, etc.

There aren't any exclusive games I want coming out for it until 2007, it won't have nearly the amount of shooters that the 360 has, it's making me pay for something that I cannot use (Blu-Ray, and I don't have an HDTV), and I am disappointed with the lack of rumble.

I don't really hate the PS3, but most of the games I want aren't coming out until 2007/2008. The only game I'm looking forward too is R:FoM at launch. At least I will be able to browse the internet on it (big feature, as I can't get enough of the internet) and I will use the BR player.

A) Rich.
B) Over compensating parents who had to get one as a Christmas present after spoiled little Jimmy threw a tantrum.

O noes, I didn't mean to quote Game...but teh glitch :P Seriously, there are new glitches in GS's system everyday....way too many if you ask me. Not even myspace has as annoying glitches.
