Well I remebere how Shadow the Hedgehog, while such an aweful game, sold preety well, so the PS3/360 Sonic game are using some of the same elements with veichles and all that, maybe the Wii one can be saved, but for me, Sonic died with the DC (some argue when he went 3D but I liked Sonic Adventure).

Anyways, with such terrible reviews and concepts, its likely hardcore gamers would avoid it, because its "sonic" and looks kiddish, casuals would probably avoid all the lame sonic games coming out lately, so the only thing I can see the huge sales coming from, are children, or very hardcore sonic fans. I mean like, I can imagine a little 8 year old kid loving to shoot bad guys using shadow or driving with veichles, but thats not what Sonic was all about.

I remebere back in the day, how amazing Sonic games used to be, and now they've been lowered to mostly garbage and a few okay ones.. I wonder if I'll ever enjoy a Sonic game again, people keep saying how the Wii one is more "old school" so it should be good, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

You're dead on with the kid demographic. Give sonic guns and every ten year old on the planet wants to play the game.

They RUUIINSSsss it! Filthy, fat kidssses!

Yeah... I wish they'd fix sonic. I know they can, but it's as if they just don't want to. Seems money's all they're after, obviously.

Think we should call him sonic the cow yet?

True, when I was young, Sonic was a simple platformer with a simple story. But now, after "Sonic Adventure," they started to overcomplicate things in "Sonic Adventure 2" and so on. It does seem in fact that the Sonic Team developers are aiming their blue hedghog towards childrens since they made "Sonic Heroes." Sonic had been dying since "Sonic Adventure 2" since the devs have no idea of what their doing at all.

I couldn't even find much sense with the SA1 and SA2 storylines. They just seemed lost in translation and the sequence of events also didn't measure up correctly. Nevertheless, I loved its atmosphere.

I agree. Sonic died for me after they released the last one for the DC. I'm not into Sonic like I was before.

Sonic for the wii looks to be Sonic's only hope (well the handheld versions has been decent-good)
