I'm actually looking forward to MvC3. Been watching lots of footage from people who got the game early.

The Shoryuken Wiki Hyper Guides seem like they'll be super helpful for getting started once I get my hands on the game.

Man this always happenes.

I tell myself I don't want a game, then it comes out, and suddenly I want it. 

It happened with GTA4, and it was one of the only games this gen I returned.. but I do like fighters a lot, my favorite genre next to RPG, so I guess I owe it to myself? :P

I'm no daigo or wong, but that doesn't sound too thrilling.

I agree, MVC games are always more accessible than regular street fighters or in the fighter genre overall but its also hard to be a master MVC player.

Guilty Gear is more skill than Street Fighter, it has far more aspects to the gameplay, its far harder to master them all. MvC is more like smash bros. People who play it act hardcore, but really they have no reason to.

I've seen a couple of story bits, it makes SF4 look like the godfather.

There are many things my master taught me on this stage. He taught me keep your melee fighters close, but your projectile fighters closer.
