Video game terms. If there was such a thing that truly existed it could kill anyone depending on the amount of depression that person stores. The person's eyes turn completely red and creates an energy blast by depression.Satsui no Hadou???BlackbondDark Hadou causes people to kill. But the glowing red eyes effect remains.

I've been trying to find the whole back story on this Dark Hadou crap. Ryu had it in SFA but not in SFIII which would lead to him getting rid of it. Well what made him originaly have it and then how did he get rid of it? Wikipedia needs an update....And if Ryu has it then how come Ken someone who uses the same fighting style has no trace of it?

Akuma killed Goutetsu (the creator of the style).Ken's style is based on power and Ryu's is technique. Dark Hadou event happenned during SF1. Ryu unleashed all his power against Sagat with his Shoryuken which is why Sagat has the scar left on his chest. In SFA series Ryu began to understand more about what he did. He had a fight with Akuma in SFA2 game In Ryu's ending the island they fought on was destroyed by their power. The animated movie preview showed of Ryu with the Dark Hadou unleashing his Shinku Hadouken against Shin Akuma at close range with an explosion occuring right in front of Ryu which looked like Shin Akuma was dead hence why there was no body of him there. Before the match Ryu asks Ken to defeat/kill him if he becomes engulfed by the Dark Hadou and is unable to break free from it. Interestingly in Street Fighter 2 V Animated Series Ryu was captured by M. Bison and became his mind slave and was completely emotionless. He was fighting Ken and Ryu used a Hadouken and Ken used his burning Shoryuken. Both attacks collided with each other and the result was an entire building destroyed and Ryu regaining control of himself. The whole Evil Ryu thing is "What if Ryu had been engulfed by the Dark Hadou"

But why does it affect Ryu and not Ken? Everything else is well explained. But then I'm assuming that Alpha takes place after Street Fighter but before Street Fighter II correct?

There are Evil Kens in some Capcom games, I don't think it's canon though, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 had an Evil Sakura.
Wow, is it me or are the majority of you posters emotionally challenged youths?lafigueroaYeah but to be honest it is also the "it" thing. Unless everyone here is honest in which case this world needs to change.

Ryu triggered it during the fight with Sagat in SF1. Dark Hadou can only be activated if a person wants to win at all costs. Its a lot easier to be obtained if the person is getting beat up badly.Ken doesn't have any specific battles for it. He beat Ryu in SF2 and imo won the SF2 tournament. Capcom created Ken to be more powerful while making Ryu rely more on technique. Ken only gets in SVC Chaos SNK vs Capcom but its a non canon ending.[QUOTE="Blackbond"][QUOTE="kage_53"]All this stuff I'm going to say is from Street Fighter Zero the Animated Movie preview mostly (you could get it on Divx.com) Basically the style that Ryu and Ken use are based of a style to kill. No. Shortly after SFA3was over SF2 tournament began. Ken also beatRyu in SFA2 in his canon ending. After the battle was overKen thinks Ryu lost his focus fromhis battle with Sagat and gives himhis red headband. Most fans believe Ken won the SF2 with Ryu finishing as the runner up because Ken marries Eliza in his ending. I unleash anger when any Gordan Freemans escape. Otherwise my emotions are nonexistent.
Off-topic: Does anyone notice that Gordan Freeman sounds an awful lot like Morgan Freeman? (the name)

I get those 2 names mixed when talking about Half Life for some strange reason. Stupid Valve. Making a persons last name Freeman :xI unleash anger when any Gordan Freemans escape. Otherwise my emotions are nonexistent.
