For you people who don't know what I am talking about, it is a DDR-Simulation.
You can download it off the site, mod a Xbox DDR pad, and go to download sites. Benamistyle.com and animedw.blogspot.com are good sites to get stepfiles from.

Just curious who has the program, songs, and modded pad? I just got the pad done over the weekend! :)

I have Stepmania, with about 500+ songs. I have a PS1/2 to PC converter for the controller (about $13) and I can use my PS2 dancemat with it. I usually just play with the controller though, cause Im usually too lazy to set it all up. But Im "meh" on the dancepad, superpwn with controller and keyboard. ;o

I had it a few years back, it took a helluva lot of room, I'd make my own steps for original songs, but my computer crashed and I didn't have the heart to start again. :?

I always wanted to get into DDR, but just never took the initial plunge. For those who are into it is it worth the effort and money of getting a mat and all that?

I believe so, the mat is not that much money and if you have wirestripper and electrical tape, along with a unused USB, it is not hard at all to mod it to work on PC.

Or just get a PS2 or XBOX to PC controller converter for about $15 then a $20 mad-catz dancemat, and you don't have to put in any more effort.

I have Stepmania, as well as a PS2/USB converter and a dance mat. However, I haven't played it in ages.
