Thinking about rooting my One XL, some genius' are modifying the Telstra RUU to remove all bloatware and social crap ware. Looking forward to its release, I can only imagine how much better battery performance and speed i will gain with the removal of the invasive crap telstra and HTC put on. :D consider me excited, hopefully in the next couple of weeks, ill have my phone rooted.

I only own a Sony tablet with Android and there is no need to root it.

Yes i've rooted every device i've had. I then customize it and overclock the gpu and cpu. Currently have my Droid Razr Maxx rooted. Overclocked to 1.4ghz and undervolted to save even more battery. I know i got the maxx why save battery but why not. lol i use the heck out of my phone. :)

I rooted mine just to unlock the market. but then that didn't work. I have been rooted for a while now, but I really don't see any use for it at the moment. I don't feel like reformatting just to remove root.
