Is anyone else watching Chargers vs Falcons?

bgres077

Nope, Bears v Broncos. Cutler looks pretty good so far, he's hit Olsen on a few nice passes.

I am so happy that the Broncos traded away Cutler. I wouldn't mind the Bears making the playoffs, and now my most hated divisional rival is a complete joke now.

Man, feel bad for teams such as the Jags and Chargers whose homes games might get blacked out.

*pounds face on desk* Buy a ticket, if not don't see the game. I'm definitely going to at least 2 home games this year.

Does anyone think that the Browns will do good this season or is that just a fantasy of my very own

Not to many drop passes by them.and they are playing well.

I think I'm jumping the gun but does anyone see this, like I do??????

Well, this just goes to show everyone that he is a Fatty McFatty and is out of shape still, even though he was out of shape at the combine.  I really don't feel that sorry about him.

Problem is that with the economy the way it is not everyone can afford $50+ to go see a football game.  I dont feel like their fans should be punished due to the way the economy is right now.

6pm deadline today for teams to get to a 53 man roster. Usually mostly scrubs but there could be a few surpirses, never know.

Raiders release QB Garcia.

Not too much of a shock considering that Garcia would've been unhappy as a backup. He didn't do enough to steal the starting job outright from Jamarcus.

Maybe, not sure about Denver, though.

Anyways, nearly a week old but still kinda new, SI's horrible predictions

Pats are screwed.

In civil terms, yes he is a first time offender.

But has everyone really forgotten about his getting caught with 'roids?

That last is ROFLtastic, to say the least.  Peter King must really love that marajuana to come up with picks like that.

Seriously, how does he have the Saints at 7-9 who have done nothing but get better from last year.

I don't really want to rip him apart, but I am anyways. Houston taking the division? yes, they'll possibly make the playoffs, but take the division over the colts? dumbass. there is no way the steelers and ravens will finish 11-5 and 9-7, respectively, more like 14-2, 11-5. Chiefs second in the division with an 8-8 record? they're switching to a new defensive scheme which none of their players are fit for, had a horrible draft, and got a QB who isn't a major improvement and took 47 sacks last year behind an offensive line that isn't nearly as bad as the chiefs. if anything, they're a 3-13 team, at best. i have my doubts about the Giants and Cowboys, the vikings won't advance past the first round with favre throwing at five defenders at a time (provided they make it there), three teams from the nfc north is too much to expect, saints at 7-9 is dumb, and this stupid "PATS ARE GOING TO WIN THE EFFIN SUPER BOWL" has been WELL overused this offseason, and there is no way the bears will make it to the Super Bowl. i don't doubt Cutler, i just don't think he'll do as well with such a garbage recieving corps and a team that was extremely weak against the pass last year. then again, he had to put up with denvers horrible defence.

being different is fine, but also have some logic. seriously.

Meriman didnt do anything.

i just saw on the local news that Tila was acutally drunk and she was going to her car and he ran out and told her not to and she just went ahead and did it anyways. so i guess he had to restrain her from driving by force.

and the doctors say they didnt find any marks on her or anything like that

The doctors also concluded what many suspected: that Tila Tequila is, in fact, a man.

Traded to the Raiders DL Richard Seymour has yet to even leave Massachusettes to report to his new team. The article goes on to explain what would happen should Seymour decide to not play for ther team he has been traded to.

I was reading the most recent publication of SI today, their NFL season preview issue. There was an opening article about the awesome brilliance of a guy named Peter King who works there as the NFL Senior Writer. Apparently, he's an NFL guru and is outstanding in his yearly predictions. Anyone heard of this guy and/or know how great his predictions really are?

Good, we need Merriman. We could've won 4-5 more games last year with him healthy. Injuries have pulled us down in the past two years.

As for King, my predictions may have gotten a better response than his.
