ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos have suspended Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall for unspecified "detrimental" conduct amid a rocky summer training camp.
The Broncos announced the suspension Friday but didn't say how long it would last.
Marshall has been open about his unhappiness with the Broncos and asked for a new contract or a trade. He acknowledged he hasn't learned new coach Josh McDaniels' playbook and was held out of last Sunday's preseason game at Seattle.
During Wednesday's warmups, Marshall walked while the rest of the team was running, punted a ball away instead of handing it to a ball boy and swatted away a pass thrown to him. The incidents were caught on video and aired by KMGH-TV.
