[QUOTE="wallymartin"][QUOTE="Espurs117"][QUOTE="thetombradyhate"][QUOTE="Espurs117"][QUOTE="thetombradyhate"] [QUOTE="Espurs117"]They count anyways. When people talk about all time greats and HOF candidates they bring up playoff stats. I see no difference in the long run. Espurs117
They bring them up separately though, its not like they add them together
I know, but my point is they count.
I guess we're interpreting wally's question differently. What I thought he was asking is: should playoffs stats be added to regular season stats for records and such, whereas you are bring up that they count but in a different category
I know what Wally ask. My point is once again, they count somehow. I am tryign to say the aren't worthless stats. They do matter. Yeah Wally wants them to be added together and I say no to be on topic. It is a 16 game season. Records will be broken like nothing. Postseason records, would be worthless. What happens when Goodell adds more games? Say hello to 2000 yard RB's at a high rate. F*** you Wally, I hate your idea.
No. Past players would have their career stats increase as well. The records would increase as well.
So we would have to rewrite records? For example Jamal Lewis would fall to 3rd on the most rushing yards in a season and Barry Sanders would move up to 2nd. So in some cases someone who holds the record, will now lose the record because his team didn't make the playoffs that year and the guy who was in 2nd added 50 yards in a WC game. Horrible idea.Â
Thats why I was saying no from the get goÂ
