The Eagles clearly dominated the Giants until the Giants got the luckiest breaks i have EVER seen. first the giants fumble the ball into the end zone and they recover for a touchdown. Then westbrook fumbles on eagles 25 yard line an giants score a td. Then in overtime mcnabb throws 2 first downs but LJ smith and stallworth drop the ball. then in overtime on the last play eagles bring the blitz and eli just throws the ball up and doesnt even know where he is throwing and buress comes down with it. The EAGLES dominated theis game they had 8 FREAKIN SACKS!!! the eagles should have won this game but lust because of the lucky breaks and they abandoned the passing game and the blitzes in the 4th quarter. Althou they lost they their defense loooked really goood and so did their offense they look like they can really make a run at the playoofs. I hope your happy GIANTS cuz that will be ur only win for a while.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Theres only one stat in this game that matters, the Giants won, and the Eagles lost.

Yea Manning really ripped them apart getting sacked 8 times that was the luckist bull**** i have ever seen in my life. The eagles force 3 fumbles revoer none. The Giants forced 1 and recovered and ended up scoring a touchdown. And Texas didnt dominate OSU like the Eagles dominated The Giants. Also the Giants shuldve won last week against the Colts. But you have to at least admit that the Eagles are the better team and shuld have won. They just got extremely unlucky i mean hey it happens sometime.

8 sacks yes, but what about those other plays? 371 yards and 3 touchdowns by Eli...and as I said before Toomer?

IMO the team that wins is the team that should win.  All that matters is that when the game clock hits :00, the team with the most points wins.

Maybe it was luck, but luck is part of the game.  Either way, the Eagles gave the game away.

This reminds me of a song, I'm sure you've all heard it by now:

"10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain, and a hundred percent reason to remember the name."

By that math, luck would have accounted for 1.7 of the Giants' 4th qtr points.  What about the other 15.3?

yea i guess luck has nothing to do with that fumble that ended up being in the endzone and the giants jumping on it. Brian Westbrook fumbling on our own 30 yard line. Brian Dawkins Interception that was ruled a catch for the Giants and everyone knew it was an int, but no one reviewed it. Manning tossing up a prayer at the end of the game and it somehow found Plaxico Burress. I agree the Eagles gave that game away by going really conservative and other things. But dont tell me luck was barely a factor because the Giants caught a ton of lucky breaks and the Eagles deserved to win that game.

Westbrook fumbling isn't luck....its his own fault. Recovering a fumble isn't luck......its called out hustling the other team.

Eagles played better, but luck is just as important as skill And does anyone else think the OT rule needs to be changed so each team gets a chance?

Are you SERIOUS!!!??? how is it not luck when dawkins knowcks the ball out of buressess arm then lewis falls on it and it pops out and the giants fall on it in the end zone. It has notin to do with out huslin its with bein at the right place at the right time and gettin a lucky bounce.

The Eagles should of won that game.  But I mean I just want that game to go away.  I got my throat sore from cursing at the tv so much.  You know you going to lose the game when your team leader and quarterback McNabb does an up down head snap to draw a 5 yard penalty.  I hope Reid runs everyone to the ground.  I mean the cornerns can't cover anyone and they can't run the ball effectively enough.  If they could they would of ran out the clock and won by 14 or 10 points, but they didn't.  Right now since of coming off a 6-10 season I'm looking for a 9-7 season.  They lost a game they could and should of won and did so against a really good possible playoff team.  Oh well, back to the huge drawing board.
