Cutler Has Type 1 Diabetes, Will Need Daily Insulin Shots

DENVER -- Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, his business manager Marty Garafalo confirmed Thursday night.

The 25-year-old Cutler found out about two weeks ago that he was diabetic and needed daily insulin injections, Garafalo told The Associated Press.

Yeah its unfortunate. I read about this yesterday, but didn't think much of it.

I heard it really sucks to have diabetes. It limits your diet a lot.

Sad to hear that happen, but on the plus side many players have had it, and been able to play and live.

Main change for him is going to be his diet, and workouts.

If he stays careful with what he eats its not gonna be a big deal at all. I mean, you guys seems so sad to see that happen when there are thousands if not millions of people starving around the world. If the worst that happen to you in your life is diabetes then you can consider yourself very lucky.
