For a 4th round pick next year, could turn into a 3rd rounder pending his play.  Of course all this is pending passing a physical.

Bout time they did something with him.  You kinda feel bad for Vince Young, though, as he would have liked to have his mentor there.  But if you don't have the money, you just don't have the money.

Now you just need to wonder what's gonna happen to Kyle "I should of been a" Boller.

Wouldnt the titans be happy if a drew brees/phillip rivers situation happened with billy volek and vicne young, then they could trade volek and really get there rebuilding going fast

I wonder how much of a chance Kyle Boller will get to play now that he has to compete with a real QB like McNair instead of having guys like Chris Redman and Anthony Wright as his backup

Well, the Titans won't trade Billy Volek soon because he's the only QB on the roster that had started a game. You can't reubuild with a rookie QB.

Yeah I believe it was a good move for both teams even though I don't like the ravens.  I think McNair is too old to make as big of an impact as most people think oh yeah and HOW THE HELL DID HE GET IN THE PRO BOWL!?!?!

Billy Volek finally gets his chance I've always thought he was a QB who could have been a decent starter but sat behind McNair

This also means that Drew Bennett will be a great fantasy sleeper.  Remember the last few games of the 2004 season?  Bennett was a TD God with Volek at the helm.  It slowed down last season, but I think this time Bennett'll pick up a good 8-10 TDs.

Vince Young is a rookie.  Not only that, but he's a rookie with a lot of questions regarding his passing ability.  Of the Top QBs taken in the draft, he'll need the most time to learn.

Billy Volek is already a proven QB and he is arguably the best QB the Titans have right now. The Titans are already one of the youngest teams in the NFL that have few veterans and making a rookie QB your starter just makes things worse.

There is no argument that Volek is #1 on the Titans.  As he should be starting on Opening Day.

Now that McNair is in Baltimore, Kyle Boller can go back to the bench where he belongs. After sitting behind McNair for the next 2-3 years, maybe Boller can learn to be a QB. The fantasy value of all Raven offensive players just went up.
