No, Philly is good. Healthy McNabb, a good wideout(Stallworth) and an up and coming one(Brown). Good O-line, good TE. Great defense, maybe the best secondary in the league. They have few weaknesses, they run soo many screens they dont need to hand the ball off. They probably make the playoffs as wildcard, or beat out Carolina. SuperBowl? Maybe. Most ridiculous pick? No.
i think its the colts. they only have a good passing game. we will see if joseph addai can live up to all the hype. the defense is just plain bad. they lost a key Lb in david thorton when he went to the titans. they dont even have 1 "good" cornerback. i have them winning the afc south but they will fall to a much better team. like they did last year when they fell to the steelers.

I don't think the screen plays are an Eagle weakness. The screen play is one of the eagles bread and butter plays. The Eagles run the screen a good bit and run it well. It's got them out of some jams in the past. In the preseason durring their games I saw at least 3 screen plays runned with first team that got a first down of 10 yards or more. Also having a perfect screen running running back in Westbrook helps too. I also agree with you the Eagles are not a ridiculous pick. Yes, it's unlikely but not rediculous. The most rediculous pick I heard is the Ravens in my opinion. The Bengals, Steelers, Patriots, Dolphins, Colts, Jaguars, Broncos, Chargers, and Chiefs are all better than the Ravens in my opinion. That's puts the Ravens in 10th place in the AFC.
The eagles wont win there division for a good 3 or 4 years the way there team fell apart.The bengals D is not strong enough to take them to the superbowl,Carson is probaly going to get hurt even if you dont want him to he might.Dolphins were thrown out in other threads.Thats not going to happen there O line needs some time and there running game to.Panthers are my pick of a sleeper team.I dont think they are going to do much this year.Steelers have a very wide chance at repeating.There intesity,focus,and ablity is all there.They beat one of the better teams in the afc with there 2nd string qb.If ben was healthy they wouldve killed.Ben will bounce back and and have a near close pro bowl season and there running game will shut up all of the haters, who say "now that bettis is gone,there running game is to".They will prove all of the critics wrong.
Taking the Eagles is not a horrible pick IMO. Injuries and Owens are what killed them last year, before that they went to 4 straight NFC Championship games and a SB. They are good enough to compete in the division and while I do think they'll finish in 4th, if they get lucky in 3 or 4 games, the division can be theirs.
i say that cincy has a better chance than the eagles. the chiefs may have a chance if the defense shuts down more teams and can keep them down. the offense will do it's job, but the defense is still a giant question mark.
I read ro heard somewhere a prediction that the dolphins will win the superbowl. if they cant beat the steelers when they odnt have ben then they wont win the sb.

You misread what I typed. I mentioned screens as their alternative to the running game("they don't need to hand the ball off") poorly written in hindsight, but, meh. Yeah the Eagles are probably the best at executing the screen in the NFL.
I know Cincinatti has been mentioned in this thread as having a horrible defense, that was last year though, the Jury is still out on this year's Defense, even though they looked really good in the preseason and in their first game againist Kansas City, I want to see them face better offenses and do it for a full 4 quarters, before I pass judgement on their defense
It is way too early to judge their defense right now, I think by week 6, we will know if they have the defense to go all the way or not

Yeah like the packers will make the playoffs the only thing you guys are playing for is the #1 draft pick. What many people fail to realize is this last year was a FLUKE!!! T.O. single handedly destroyed that franchise. Mcnabb got hurt on the FIRST PLAY OF THE SEASON and reaggravated his injusry in week 8. Westbrook was hurt in week 8 the defense was decimated with injuries and We had Mike Mcmahon as our qb for the 2nd half of the season. We went to 3 straight NFC championships without T.O. and with like the worst reciving corps. and everyone says the only reason the eagles got to the super bowl was because of T.O. He didnt even play in the playoffs the Eagles got there with just Freddie Mitchell. The Eagles are stacked at both O and D- line. Everyone is healthy. We have Donte Stallworth who got 1000 yards and 7 tds last season as a # 2 wideout with Aaron FREAKIN Brooks throwin him the ball. I know the NFC east is better than ever but i do think the eagles will make it to the super bowl. There is only 1 team in their division that can compete with them and that is the Giants. They looked pretty Good in week 1. I dont know why everyone is saying the eagles wll finish 4th. The redskins PLEAAASE they are so terrible and the cowboys: T.O. will stir major contoversy by Week 9 and Bledsoe will be riding the bench by Week 7. He threw 6 passes that should have been INTS but were dropped by the Jaguars D. 3 of them ended up being interceoted he's luck the other ones werent.
Oh excuse me i didnt say 945 yards i was off 55 yards OMG. I love talkin to people that know nothing about football like you. The Redskins and Cowboys will not compete. The Giants will they look like a ver good team and so will the eagles. The Boys and Skins both have garbage qb's who will be ridin the bench soon.
