Assinine - possibly. Cheap shot - sure, why not. BS - hardly. Bruschhi IS putting football above his family. please tell us all, how is he putting his family before football ??Herrdoktor

How is he putting it above his family?
His friggin' wife told him to play.
If it was a mutual job between the both of them, that's hardly picking one of the other.

This is his job.  Literally.
He's not saying/showing that one is any better than the other.

Is a cop putting his job over his family everytime he gets into his cruiser?
By your logic, yes.

comparing a millionare football player to a cop is so, totally assinine, Its left me speechless, almost,  unfortunatly , like most of us, if a cop had a stroke, or whatever, HES STILL GOT BILLS TO PAY,  Bruschi on the other hand, doesnt need to work another day in his life, if he doesnt want to. This isnt a job for him, its a hobby.

and , again , no one is ?'ing his right to do whatever the hell he wants. he could go play russian roulette for all i care.  but trying to defend his decision as being either the right or smart thing to do, is Ludicrous.

Then again with the way pros spend money, he probably has a secret Ricky Williams complex and just blew off all his earnings on Escalades and 3 mansions by now. :P

Just kidding. I think he did just come back for the sake of the game.

Great comparison....NOT.  A cop is doing his job and bettering his overall community. Herrdoktor

 Stick to your 'medical expertise'

This honestly made me laugh.

He/she is doing the job for his/her family's livlihood.  Bruschi is playing a game after suffering a stroke.  No one has ever played football with that device in their heart.  And no one knows what to expect.

And?  This has to do with what again?  Oh wait...nothing, gotcha.

Moreover, he hasn't even made an impact.  They got owned against McGahee last week and were lucky to come away with a win (as with all other games they've won).  Pats suck this year and Bruschi's not gonna change a damn thing.  No playoffs.  No Bowl.  No point for Bruschi to take a risk.

This is the first game he has played since the Pro Bowl.
And actually yes he did make an impact.
He had the most Patriot tackles that game.
Nice try though.

McGahee owned...WTF?  He averaged 4.4 yard an attempt.  While that's good, that's hardly 'owning' especially considering they didn't win the game.
And the Bills weren't exactly stopping Cory Dillon, who was playing on a bum ankle.

Honestly, your anti-Patriot mentality has no bounds.  They actually caused turnovers this game and moved the ball when they needed to.
No wait...it was all luck.

Well when you call the Raiders a "trainwreck" and they allow McGahee to only 50 yards rushing and then the Pats give up over a 100...that would be getting owned by comparison according to your opinion of the Raiders.

Since I am the complete Patriots homer I will admit they got spanked this week.

Thankfully the rest of their season is pretty much a joke.

Hey, now you can join me in the wallowing shame :D :| .....But what's worse is that the Raiders are probably a QB away from having a legitimate playoff contender.   That's also easy to say than for them to acquire, but a guy can always hope, I guess....Kerry sucks.

Yeah, and the Packers are five offensive starters that are injured away from having a playoff calibur team (in NFC North, not NFL).

But still, I think the Raiders are just one great QB away...

Everyone knew that the Patriots were going to lose and honestly the loss isn't that big of a deal in the long run.

HOWEVER...our secondary is ****ing embarassing.  Forget bad.
They are disgusting.
It was like watching Notre Dame play Temple.

I wish I could say the Colts defense is impressive, but I honestly don't know.
The Patriots were moving hte ball pretty easily for a while and if the Colts play a team with a great defense then they could be in trouble.

Two words:  Tom Brady

When has he not moved the ball effectively?

I can see Denver moving the ball just as easily as the Patriots did.

The Giants and Atlanta probably could too.

Well they are really banged up....once some of the guys heal up they may get a little better on the defense and maybe pick up the slacking running game.

But yeah I really dont see them winning the super bowl unless Payton Manning chokes in the playoffs which is possilbe
