PATs- CB(to replace Samuel), LB(that arent getting social security), and thats about it, except for fillers of course.WhiteSamurai209
they also need to replace randall gay who left as well

Not sure, but I think he was listed as a CB on the depth chart for the Super Bowl.
New York Giants :
1) Free Safety
2) Outside Linebacker
3) Nickel CornerBack (Madison is getting old and hopefully we will cut Mcquarters by June 1st)
4) Guard (mostly for depth)
5) Defensive Tackle (we had a few guys leave)
6) Wide Receiver (if Moss does not stay healthy/produce we might have to get another guy)
7) Kick Returner (not real position but not sold on Hixon)
[QUOTE="ocdog45"]cowboys need a super bowl win.KFrandsen2
lots of teams would like that lol
Cowboys need aPLAYOFFwin, preferably during the present decade too!
Since their last playoff victory... Favre & Elway went to two SB's; Patriots won 3 of 5, Giants 1 of 2, Rams 1 of 2; Falcons, Titans, Raiders, Panthers, Eagles, Seahawks and Bears each made it to SB; Ravens, Bucs, Steelers and Colts each won a SB; and on top of all that -- everyone's fav team and owner to hate, Crypt Keeper Al Davis' now-lowly Raiders have won 3 straight division titles andplayoff games after said Division titles too. And the Cardinals got their first Playoff win in over 50 years against, thats right, Dallas. O.M.F.G!!! KILLLLLLLLLL MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
After Jerry Jones 'fired' J. Johnson with his smart-assed drunken-hillbilly remark "Five hundred coaches could've won a SB with this team", well, by my count: 5 coaches down & only 495 to go...
Hey Jerry, How bout dem Cowboys!!!
Dominant in the normal season since when? This was the first year they were dominant in the normal season in a long time. The last time they dominated the regular season consecutively, they also dominated the playoffs. For the past twelve years they realy haven't been dominant in anything, but let me remind you they still have the most playoff wins of any team.^^
ya cowboys are a dominant team in the normal season, but in the post season is a whole other story...but i cant talk eather cause bucs havent won a playoff game since 2002

Last year yes, the year before, no.other than #7 you got pretty much everything down pack..our SP returners teams have been pretty decent over past 7 yearsNew York Giants :
1) Free Safety

Panther's needs: DE, WR (unless Jarrett actually plays), OL (left guard in particular), LB (inside in particular)Ngamer05
I do agree with some of what you said, Ngamer, but here's what they need.
1. DE- Peppers is still good, but Jenkins(among others) has LOST it.
2. QB- Jake Delhomme is(sadly) starting to decline and they need someone to pick up the slack.
3. OL- Gross and Wharton are good, but we need someone take up that left side.
4. RB- lets face it. this running attack only has Deangelo Williams and he aint gonna be starting forever.
5. TE- just pick one.
6. LB- Morgan is gone and Beason needs some help.
Henne at 2, Sweed at 3 and Kelly at 5. Guy needs to reevaluate his stuff. Also why Moore at 2 positions? Pick one.Espurs117He definitely has a screw loose or something.

yeah, but I have "blind" faith in Moore to replace Jake when he gets older, and then they have that other QB: B.Beshalz something. TE I think they're fine, Defense and Offensive line needs some tuning.I would really like to see them draft F.Jones to back up Willimas, but knowing them they'll go for defense or offensive line with the first pick.

Well I stated those needs before all the aquisitions the Panthers made this offseason. Right now, I think we can cross out WR and LB as Carolina is four deep at each respective position. (Smith, Moose, Hackett, and Jarrett/Robinson at WR; Beason, Johnson, Davis, and Diggs at LB)
So to give you an update, I'd say the team's needs look like this:
As for Delhomme in his decline (your statement), did you notice how well he was playing before the arm injury occurred? He was lighting it up and considering that he will have more weapons at his disposable this upcoming season, you can count on Delhomme playing at a high level for atleast another 3-4 seasons (imo).

Ngamer05
Meh. He was never that great anyway. I think he'll be okay for a little while, but they should go after a QB in '09 or '10.
I wouldn't say 'meh' about Delhomme. Jake's had 4 solid seasons, though he most likely peaked in 04.
I'll never forget his fire in SB XXXVIII -- an undrafted player, he outperformed (16-33, 323 yds, 3 TDs) quite a few QBs who were high draft picks, took their teams to the SB and flopped in front of millions.
The names of 'elites' he put to shame (in a losing effort) may shock you -- don't make me list 'em!

Agreed, it seems a lot of people take his Super Bowl run for granted and think he's no good now because he's only made the playoff once since. But fact of the matter is, the Panthers have not had that feature back since the Stephen Davis days and I think that has been their one major downfall from being that consistent playoff team that they want to be.

I'll give an updated team needs list for the Lions.
1. Offensive Tackle-A lack thereof has been the main reason the Lions have sucked the past five years.
2. Defensive End-Kalimba Edwards' unexpected departure leaves the DE department bleak.
3. Offensive Guard-See Number 1
4. Defensive Tackle-The loss of Shaun Rogers is a major hit to the Defensive Line as a whole.
5. Center-See Numbers 1 and 3.
6. Cornerback-Brian Kelly is a nice addition, but he is getting old. Leigh Bodden is nice, too, but I have some doubts.
7. Linebackers-Boss Bailey left, so someone is needed to replace him. It would also be very dandy to get a good middle linebacker. Teddy Lehman and Paris Lenon make me puke.
8. Runningbacks-Kevin Jones should have been kept. I'm not really sure about Bell.
9. Kick Returner-To replace what Drummond left behind last year.
------------------------------------------ (Cut-off line of the biggest needs)
10. Kicker-Hanson is 36 years old.
11.Quarterback-First of all, if Drew Stanton ends up failing, this is a need, as Kitna is nearing the end. Also, there's only two quarterbacks on the roster right now.

The lions need only one thing, Barry Sanders, he doesnt need an o-line and he will outscore the opposing team by himself. He hasnt played in a while so he'll be well rested. Either him or a new team.
wow i cant wait for this years draft. i made a list of all the players i want on my team this year:
Desan Jackson,Malcolm kelly,Devin Thomas,Limas Sweed,Mike Jenkins,James Hardy,CB Brandon Flowers,Brian Brohm,Joe Flacco,Early Doucet,Eddie Royal,Leodis McKelvin,Mike Jenkins,Aqib Talib,Antoine Cason,Justin King,Chad Henne.
Yup i wont be dissapointed in this years draft, there is no way that 1 of those guys wont go to my team(not like last year where i almost broke my toe from being pissed off when Detroit took CJ)

He blamed it on the new field surface, so it's all good. Hah, what a clown.
i just heard on radio that Malcolm kelly ran a 4.68 on his pro day.
im a sophmore in high school football and i run a 4.7, and im a DE and i highly doubt im going to play college ball...and this dude is a WR going into the NFL........gross
*throws up on himself for even thinking this guy is the right fit for bucs*Ryder004
You're as good as Jerry Rice!!!!
Atlanta Falcons:
1) Quarterback
2)WR
2)TE
Shotfire20
That's pretty good, but I'm sick of drafting WR and TE's high.
I think it's more like #1 QB, #2 CB, #3 OL, #4 WR, #5 TE
Also, I'm really tired of Brooking absorbing tackles 10 yards down the field at the MLB spot.
