[QUOTE="geaux321"]My impressions:
First thing I notice is man that really looks like the Swamp, very pretty and the orange is abundant. You get 1 minute quarters. Kicking off was different as it has changed to the Right Analog stick, but its for the better than just hitting a button twice and it seems to be a little bit harder to get it right. Another thing I notice is the interface before the play is called, many different buttons to call for your linebackers, defensive-line, and defensive-backs which will take some time to get used to. I tried the Jump the snap feature and really got close to blocking a FG, I was so excited because I never get close not it is within my grasp. The animations are very fluid and I notice several different tackle animations and there are quite a few more animations after the play is over. The play selection screen will take some time to get used to, but I have to build the perfect playbook first, but I like the fact that you only use one button to call a play instead of the X, A, or B buttons which sometimes I hit the wrong one. I like how the game feels when running and throwing, very fluid. The crowd looks great and even the people on the sidelines aren't cut-outs anymore, which just adds to the atmosphere.
Overall I can't wait for this game, as always, as most of you know I'm a college football nut, and this is one game that I never miss, it will be in my 360 for months to come.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. wallymartin
I also like the idea of using one button for playcalling, same reason.
I have a question about the kicking game. Do you pull the stick back and push it forward in order to kick, similar to how you swing in Tiger Woods Golf and shoot a free throw in NBA Live? I don't know if you've played the 06 versions of those games, but if that's how the kicking game is done, I'm in favor of it.
That's exactly how you do it.
