I've got it, I've played a game and half(my 360 froze up half-way through the 2nd game, let's hope it's a one-time occurance), and my initial reactions aren't very good. 

For starters, I absolutely despise the menus.  Maybe after I'm used to them it'll be easier for me to deal with them, but for now, I hate them.  And calling plays isn't very fun either.  There's very little organization in it, so I feel like I'm calling plays at random instead of deciding what I want.  In actual play, I don't feel like I'm doing much of anything, as the plays are over really fast and it looks more like everyone is just jumbled up.

As I said, these are just my initial reactions.  I need more time with it before I can judge it more thoroughly.

How is your initial reaction of this game compared to your initial reaction when you played NCAA 06?

I actually like it, cuz u can just move from the menu to your dynast, there is no loading times.Espurs117

yo people who have the 360 version could you guys give me an in depth description of the dyasty mode and online. Is this game anything like madden..I want to know this because I dont like not having names in a sports game and I havent really followed college football since michigan( my favorite team) lost john navvare and chris perry. So what I really want to know is...is it worth the buy even for a person that likes college football but isnt a huge hardcore fan.WAKEFOREST23

How is your initial reaction of this game compared to your initial reaction when you played NCAA 06?

Actually, the only other NCAA game I've played was 03.  And so far, I like that one better.

why is san jose state the worst team in the game? there not that bad in real life. on team with a d+ defense and an overall docdog45

Because they were 3-8 last year and only one team they faced on their schedule was ranked. They also won no games on the road and that's something you have to do impress the AP voters.

Alright, I've played some more and I'm only getting happier with this game.  Although I still don't like them, I'm much more used to the menus and general on-screen usage.  Playcalling has become more fluid for me, especially on defense, because it's no longer just picking random plays.  The animations in the game are amazing, as are the very detailed graphics.  I'm thinking its becoming too easy though, cause I just blew out Oklahoma 70-15 on All-American.  wallymartin

When i blow out Oklahoma, its not too easy........its too fun.
