I honesly don't think Crabtree is the sole reason it should be done.  There have been so many more picks in the first round who have been busts and made a ton of money.  Joey Harrington, Cedric Benson, Vince Young, Ryan Leaf, should I go on?

The commish doesn't make rules like that based on one person unless it comes to injury (see Hines Ward and how receivers can block down field).   We would need a rookie cap because they get paid more than 10 year veterans that have been consistent throughout their career yet do nothing but sit on the bench behind Kerry Collins (see Vince Young).
