I like this list.......maybe Bob Sanders too
I wouldn't list Bob Sanders near the Top 5 yet. I think he needs to keep it up for another year or so for me to consider him.
He's healthy now. Roy Williams is a hard hitting safety, thats really all. He doesnt cover the pass all that well and his numbers are close to Eds, except those that involve pass deflections and INTs. Ed can win you some games, he can turn the ball over and cover a WR. We saw what Roy did against Santana Moss. Need I remind you what happened?
To be fair, Brian Dawkins should be up there too.

Yeah....Steelers:roll:
1. John Abraham (When healthy this guy dominates a game)
2. Brian Urlacher (Briggs contributes to his success, but his speed to the sideline is nuts)
3. Rashean Mathis (Extremely smart and sticky coverman)
4. DeAngelo Hall (NFL's fastest and most confident corner= almost too aggresive)
5. Jonathan Vilma (never ever misses a tackle.. seriously)
Honorable Mention
Julius Peppers, Ed Reed, Brian Dawkins (older now), Dwight Freeney, Shawne Merriman (jury still out)
Other Notes: Ray Lewis is past due. We're talking about the best 5 now.. not HOF. He hasn't been himself since 03'. I think Trotter's run stopping ability is a product of Javon Kearse filling gaps and making runners pick a hole.Â
