Go Packers! i just dont want Dallas to win because this guy at my work i dont liek has 50 bucks on them!

I think the Pack will barely win and Romo will make costly mistakes at the wrong time, but it wouldnt suprise me if the Cowboys win also!

LOL! Umm, yeah I highly doubt they will try going for a 2 point conversion in such a big game with such big implications when they can just tie the game with an easy kick. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Well, sometimes it does happen. If theyreally believethey can make it, why not end it right there? I believe the Bucs did it a couple years ago to the 'Skins.

For a game which will not be seen in 74 million households tonight, the NFL Network will have given Dal-GB pre-game coverage generally reserved for a playoff game--- nearly 5hrs worth!

Dude, it won't happen, there is too much at stake in this game. You take the tie into OT. I guarantee you if the situation comes up, they will kick the PAT.

Oh I agree, you should take the tie in that situation and try to win in OT, most of the time, and the Cowboys would more than more than likely("more than" twice intentionally) kick the FG. But it does happen. Sometimes you just want to end it right there, win or lose.

On my way home, I heard on the radio that Favre got hurt before he threw the interception. Anyone know if he's likely to return?

Doesn't look like it, and Rodgers seems to be playing well so I don't think they will risk putting him back in. Anyways Packers just scored and cut the Cowboys lead down to a FG, 27-24.

I watched on campus, there must have been 70 people gathered around the one TV, maybe 40 on each of the other TVs in the building. A lot of fun watching with that many people.

Aaron Rodgers didn't start out too well when he came into this game, but he looked very good for the most part. The Pack should be in good hands when Favre eventually retires. If he's still there by then.

Good game, Cowboys.

I laugh at everyone who actually thought the Packers defense would hold the Cowboys under 20 points. Oh and Bgres, LMAO! 10 pts? Joke.

How about my score prediction? I said 38-28, it was 37-27.

I don't know Wally, he brought it up so i responded to it. I find it pretty funny when people bring it up, it's pretty pointless because being an officer doesn't make you better then a recruit. I guess when you become an officer you are supposed to act differently. Sorry, but I'm not going to stop kidding around and giving people a hard time just because I have an officer tag. People give me a hard time too, it's all good.

It's good to know that one 10-win season from 97-06, with 3 straight 5-11 seasons along the way; and **Zer0** playoff wins since 1996 has kept everyone humble in cowboy nation.

I dunno, maybe more objectivity is in order? I'm only speaking for myself, but maybe cowboys fans should wait until they actually achieve something of significance b4 slinging arrows at the league's bottom-feeders again. (ie- Ask the Giants fans if mid-season records mean anything)

Everyone enjoys a fanboy jab once in a while, but some tend to really go overboard-- and NO, I'm not aiming my remarks any any specific individual in this forum or elsewhere. (i have my own issues!)

holy crap man.. nice call

I have a quick question for you guys. I've got $300 riding on my fantasy game this week, and this is the thread with the most knowledge.

Between these 5 guys who would you run with this week:

A Peterson @MIN v Detroit (First game back from LCL tear)

J Lewis @ARI (starter)

D. Ward @CHI (most likely coming back from injury filling in for jacobs)

J. Chatman @MIA v NYJ (coming back from injury ankle sprain with soreness)

A Peterson @CHI v NYG (filling in for Benson)

I can start 3 of these guys.

Packers re-sign former QB Nall

(AP) - Craig Nall signed with the Packers on Saturday to provide depth at quarterback behind an ailing Brett Favre and backup Aaron Rodgers. To make room for Nall, the team released safety Marviel Underwood.

How do they do that? Isn't it a rule that 11 men must be on the field? That would be really hard for them if they did, though.

No, you just can't have 12. 11 or fewer and you're fine.

Man, oh man. Had that game in the bag, but Payton wanted to get fancy. I can't even really fault Reggie for that toss because we've tossed the ball on end arounds before. I'm glad I hate blowouts more than the giveaway losses.

I couldn't believe it either. Reggie should have just held onto the ball instead of trying to make a miraculous pitch.
