Damn, Lions lose in a very exciting game 41-34. I thought the Lions were gonna win, but the refs did the right thing and reversed the pass interference call.

I'm mad too because for some reason I picked the Lions for the upset pick. :( But at least the Redskins won in overtime which is great news. :D

Well Cincinatti proved, that they are not ready to be Super Bowl bound, like a lot of people in my area wanted to think and now they have to face the music

New England on the other hand, despite all of their free agents, they lost in the offseason, along with an aging team has showed, that they cannot be counted out just yet, they were in a situation, where they were the underdog, againist a very talented young Cincinatti offense, that cannot seem to stop a team's running game for nothing and they proved, that when they needed a win to boast their morale as a team and as a chance to make a statement, they did it

I'm happy the Texans finally won a game.  Espurs, I'd give David Carr a little consideration for an award.  Without him, there's no way Houston wins.  Good for Mario Williams getting his first sack.  And it was pretty exciting when he got 2 in a row.

Dallas blows out Tennessee.  For his first start, Vince Young looked okay.  When he learns to run downfield instead of side-to-side, he'll start looking a lot better.  Note to Albert Haynesworth: GTFO.  Just dispicable.

Washington/Jacksonville was pretty exciting.  That TD catch by Reggie Williams was great.  All the better that his helmet popped off.  Good job by Mark Brunell to squeeze the ball in during OT, and good job by Santana Moss to win it with his feet.

The Jets really scared me with that last play.  When Chad Pennington got the ball back, I knew I was watching something special(also I :lol:ed).  It's almost a shame they didn't actually score.

I agree.  New England showed that despite their age and FA losses, they are still one of the top teams in the league and should never be taken lightly.

Ya it was too bad they didnt score on that play, it wouldve been amazing. And i was laughing too when Pennington and the Lineman got the ball, they both got rid of it pretty quickly:lol: If they lost it wouldve taken out like half of my survival football league. And im happy for my Texans of course and Mario, and congrats to Santana Moss:D

The Jets are a really underrated team. Now that they have Pennington back healthy they could do some damage. They just need to remember how to win games instead of just playing well.

He should be out for the year, stomping on someones head with cleats and busting it open giving him 30 stitches on his face is a crime.

Wow, I'm really surprised how well the Bears have played, and who knows how much of a difference Shaun Alexander would have made.

I think it would have made a little more difference but the Bears still would have won though.

All i no is that thanks to Atlanta and Carolina im eighty dollars richer.  Although i recently gave up on the Dolphins (i live in miami and i am a Falcon fan) i couldnt help but still cheer for Wes Welker when he was playin and even though i make a bunch of negative comments every chance i get i still cant help but secretly cheer for them.

*sigh* Go Dolphins

I couldn't agree more. I would have suspended him for the year and possibly brought up on criminal charges. If you were to do that to someone on the street you would be arrested and charges would be filed aganst you, there is no room for unsporstman like conduct like that in the NFL. I would also make him attend anger management classes to help him control his temper.

Yes T.O. scored one. And 5 catches is pretty good for a receiver who no one thought was gonna play. And next time, don't quadruple post in a topic.

First of all he's a DT not a linebacker. Second, there is no need for playing like a complete maniac and thinking that what you do on the field has no consequences. And third, the object is not to go out there and try to hurt the players on the other team. I know that when you play hard there are going to be some injuries but there is no need to go out there and purposely try to hurt someone.

Sorry you dont have to get your panties all in a bunch i say LB instead if DT im soo sorry and btw if you play football your not gonna go out there to hurt somebody but your going out there to win and there might be a few casualties along the way and i agree it doesnt excuse him being a maniac and he deserves to be punished. but im also saying that you have to play hard if you want to win.

I said other because I think the Cowboys and Eagles is going to be a great one. I also think Carolina and New Orleans will be a good one but me being a Cowboys fan I got to go with Dallas.
