Yeah I know, but what pisses me off even more was that the NFL ended up supporting his dumb*** decision. If they actually looked at the video, they would of realized that Peppers didn't hit Ryan helmet to helmet.

a couple of days ago my uncle gave me a sports illustrated from 1979 , the irony that it was week 5 of the 79 season:

^ wow, 5-0. i looked through the 79 season - "SI curse" must have struck em, cuz they lost their next 2 games, one of which was their worst of year (most points, first-downs and yards allowed): 42 pts, 22 1st-dwns and 397 yards... to Archie Manning's Saints! :o Defense allowed three 300 yard games, three under 200 yards -- held KC Chiefs to only 4 first-dwns and 80 yards (22 passing, 58 rushing); finished season as NFL's #1 unit, 237 pts allowed. I don't think that's what they were doing. Rosenfels was right next to him lined up in a typical Shotgun.
