OMG Sage
Just knew the Texans would blow it.wallymartin
Blown leads are the worst man. I've experenced this the last two weeks (Chargers and Bills). Suck it up, champ.
You guys need a QB.My teams suckiness can't be described in words. We really need to start over on all fronts.

It seems like the Texans just took a lesson from the Memphis Tigers, how to give away a game, that you already have won, but choke and could not finish it off
Their loss reminded me of how Memphis lost the National Championship game in College Basketball earlier this year and I believe both losses will have a carry over effect on both teams
Speaking of games, I wonder how long the Dallas/Cincinatti game will be watchable for, before it turns into a yawnfest, but if it does then back to no fighting in the war room on COD4 on Veteran. :P

Agreed and some retooling in their offensive line wouldn't hurt either.
It seems like the Chiefs offensive line and their team in general started going downhill, when Willie Roaf retired a few years ago, you just cannot replace that kind of leadership and their team has never been the same since he retired
HT, I would like to hear your thoughts on what I just said about that
I am just suprised that Larry Johnson has not blown out his ACL yet, if you guys knew this, but he is the only running back who has came out of Penn State that has not torn his ACL and had their career ruined by it, after what happened during the 90's, I honestly believed Penn State running backs in the NFL were cursed
Wow what a bad fumble by Tony Romo after trying to make a play out of nothing and man the Dallas players on offense could not tackle worth a darn and a horrible face mask by Marion Barber
Then at the beginning of the game after Dallas recovered a Turnover and only getting a FG is not acceptable, especially againist a team like Cincinatti and no reason for a good team to not get a TD againist them of all teams
But in a way, I am glad Dallas is playing like this, because the past 2 seasons, they have peaked too much the first 3 months of the season, I would rather see them play sloppy now and get it out of there system and do enough to get by and then peek in December and carry it into the playoffs, so maybe their sloppy play might be a blessing in disguise later on this year
[QUOTE="J4y_CNX"]Colts and Seahawks are embarassingRyder004
will u quit b*tching about the hawks?
Both teams are playing very bad right now
Indianapolis did not win that game today, the Texans gave them that game and anytime you cannot beat a team that has not won a game and you are or were considered a powerhouse in your conference, then it does not look good and a good team would have finished the job on the colts today
omg that pass hit A Jones right in the hands, both of them. Pacman = joke. I hope Cincy gets a TD on this driveJackBurton
He dropped a wideopen one vs GB too. I don't know how he is a good punt returner but he can't catch INT's directly to his hands? Dallas has atleast 5 dropped INTS this year, and I mean wide open ints. Hamlin dropped one earlier too.
T.O.!
The fact that Reggie Nelson and Drayton Florence are out worries me a lot, because Will James....
:edit: I love you Rashean I love you. My fellow high school alama mater
Talk about a soft secondary....jeez.Ngamer05Jags secondary absolutely sucks when a starter is injured. Will James you freaking piss me off. Damn it Reggie Nelson and Drayton Florence better be healthy next week.
The banged up offensive line has had trouble making running lanes. I can only cross my fingers that Fred and Mojo explode in offense soon. There's still plenty of time, but if the Jags expect to win they better get their good running game going.

I firmly believe that everybody is too worried about Dallas subpar games. 2 weeks in a row. but like I said earlier I would rather see them play like this now and get out of their system instead of December and then failing again in the playoffs
Everybody keeps forgetting that they have peaked too early in the Season, the last 2 years and they just limped into the playoffs and were just 1 and out and you need to peak at the end of the year and do enough to get by and not play your best early on and have nothing left in the Tank
This will be the year that Dallas finally whens a playoff game either
[QUOTE="Ngamer05"][QUOTE="LINKloco"]My Chargers are a bunch of softies. They keep playing like this they deserve not making the playoffs. Miami looks to be on the rise...wtf?!LINKloco
Yeah I don't understand the Chargers either. Perhaps they were overhyped once again going into the season?
Considering they made it to the AFC championship game last season that hype should be expected.True and maybe they're just off to another slow start like last season (same record after wk5).
We shall see. ;)

I don't mean to be singling out your posts -- u just happened to be the first to mention this...
Are you not concerned that Tony Romo has established a pattern as a turnover machine? Do you realize that in his 31 career starts he has: only 3 games WITHOUT a turnover; 11 games with 2 TOs and 6 games with 3+ turnovers??? (bang the link, check the game logs)
What is it that has you so confident Dallas will win a playoff game? What happens to the majority of Playoff teams that lose the TO battle? They lose. Dallas' defense is not dominating enough to offset these turnovers, not to mention the fact that they are susceptible to the pass. You cannot expect to simply outscore your playoff opponents and win. If this were true, the 80s Chargers would've won 2 SBs
I wish I had your confidence -- I'll believe they can win a playoff game after-the-fact.

none taken. My facts are not 'laid out right in front of me', but they are only a bookmark away at any given time.i find it riotously funny that my fellow Dal fans think, year after year, that "this is the year", all the while seemingly ignoring the (somewhat) obvious facts, like 'turnovers lose games', particularly in the playoffs.
As easily as this could be Dallas' year, it could also be Carolina's, or New York's, or Washington's(:x). Dallas fans love to bash teams not in the NFC East, (and in this forum- Carolina) but ignore that John Fox' coaching mentality is based on the same fundamental principles of football as any NFCE team.
Also, it wouldn't be very cool for me to bash the hell out of Favre yet ignore his protege, Romo, would it?
