No, the Saints were the superior team and weren't able to put them away in spite of a bevy of Saints mistakes.

Where was the vaunted Dolphins running game, they should've been able to bleed out the clock up 3 TD's. Ronnie Brown averaged 3 ypc, and Ricky Williams (if you take out the long TD run) averaged 1.5 ypc.

NYG defense overrated? I think so. Anytime they played a legit offense, they get torched. Maybe they are missing Spags afterall?

Easily they are overrated, they've beaten up on a bunch of cream-puffs.  They've given up huge yardage against the Cowboys, Saints, and Cards, who I believe are the only teams with winning records they've played.

Who is calling the plays for the Panthers? Is it Fox? Fire them all, just to be sure. They were only down 5 at the half, but had already thrown the ball 25 times against the league's worst run defense. I mean seriously, what the **** were they thinking? Give Stewart and Williams the ball 20 times each, there is no way the Panthers lose that game.

Yeah, everyone in Carolina should be fired, geez. How simple is it to hand it off to the RB's.

Can't believe there was an Alex Smith sighting yesterday and 3 Td's. Let's see how it goes when he starts against the Colts.

I am still so ****ing pissed about the ****ing Fins game. God, after I saw the 24-3 lead early in the game, I was already going up to one of my buddies, shaking his hand (he's a fins fan) and telling him we were just about the only ones who were right. But nooooooooooooooo, the refs had to put so much money on the Saints and **** the game over for them. I'm saving it for my PWR tomorrow.

He's got them pegged as one of the most underrated teams, and apparently picked them to pull the upset.  A Dolphin victory would have made him look great.

You're not doing yourself any favors by doing to the ol' blame the refs routine, man.

And how can you say the refs were working for us when the friggin' replay booth didn't work on a clear cut drop by Bess early in the game. I never even heard of that happening before.

Seriously.  Is it the refs fault the Wildcat didn't work?  Is it the refs fault Ted Ginn can't catch a pass?  Is it the refs fault Sparano called a timeout before half (they would have reviewed the play regardless)?  There is no way in hell you can blame refs for blowing a 3 TD lead.

Ignore him, he still thinks LT is relevant. More then likely he didn't even watch the game and just says whatever he hears without actually finding out on his own.

I can't blame the refs entirely for that loss, but they made some major screwups. When Sharper got the pick six, he fumbled the ball before he got into the endzone. It should've been ruled a touchback. However, it was a Saints TD. Also, when the Fins fumbled that ball that rolled out of bounds, it was apparently an illegal forward pass, which it was clearly not, and instead of being a 2nd and 3, it was a 3rd and 8, which is bull. Also, at the end of the game when the ref called that one of the wideouts wasn't properly lined up for the spike, as they were walking up to the line of scrimmage before they had a chance to score a TD that would've covered the spread. Looks like someone put money on the Saints and ensured that they'd cover......

I blame Sparano and Ginn most for the loss on the Fins side. I don't get why Sparano called that timeout before the 1st half ended when the Saints were going for the field goal, but then after the timeout, the Saints went for the TD. Ginn made so many costly drops (one of which went for a Saints TD). I'm also pissed off because I bet with a buddy $30 that the Fins would at least cover the spread.

I still can't tell if Sharper has posession.
You can't just throw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock, maybe if there was someone behind him he was trying to get the ball to I could understand.  He was just trying to stop the clock.
I don't remember if they had enough on the line, but that's the correct call for the 10 second run-off.

I don't see you complaining about the instant replay machine not working when the Saints tried to challenge the "catch" by Bess.  That would have forced them to punt from farther back instead of being able to pin the Saints inside the 10 later on.

I'm not going to argue with that, but I was mainly blaming the refs because I was pissed off.
