Im not sure if anyone has noticed this but if you look at the picture of the 3ds with that right analogue attachment and cover up the top screen it looks just like a wii-u controller! And there's even a wrist strap attatched to the back!!

What do you guys think?

That's to convientent to be true.

And I dont think adding the extra analog was really planned. It's more of a desparate attempt to make the 3DS sell.

Hmm... I don't know. I rather use a Wii U controller to play my Wii U games because of the bigger touchscreen and more buttons. Also, it depends on whether the 3DS can stream Wii U games like its controller. If not, Wii U games will be very limited if played with a 3DS.

Well Miyamoto said that if you wanted to have a 2nd Controller for the Wii U you could potentially use your 3DS if you have one.

Yeah Nintendo already said you could use the 3DS as a second controller. And if they redesign it it'll actually be way more comfortable than that HUEG tablet the Wii U comes with

Well, if I remember properly, someone from nintendo said it is possible. I'd imagin games that don't reliy heavly on camera control would work quite well on it. Though I'm certain that only a few games will have the option to use it and none will require it. A few developers might design a game in mind to use the 3DS, but again, probly won't require it.

:|From what I hear, most people who got to try out the Wii U (and its controller) thought it was quite comfortable despite it's size. Not to mention there is always a chance of the remote getting redisgned, since it's still possibly a year away.

Will be good if its true, I don't mind it at all. To those that worried about the size & weight ..it depends how you hold it, much like the current wiimote. Hold it in an over exaggerated position (like those people in the Wii adverts showing first person shooter game) & your hand will get tired/sore quickly.
