Agreed. Resident Evil holds up better due to its use of the 3DS shaders, but Street Fighter is a game full of compromises.RE here almost holds up to Sheva from RE5 only because both have been squashed to 400x240. Weirdly, including this one, most RE:R screenshots I found online were higher resolution than the 3DS itself, so Capcom must have been going nuts distributing bullshots prior to its release.DJ_Lae
The Mercenaries one I'm pretty sure is a bullshot. However with SSF4, it was a rushed port that was done in just a few months and used a small cartridge. Thats why the graphics aren't up to par and the backgrounds are static.
You're probably talking about the 800x480 shots. Don't know why they would release that, but it's either 400x240 shots which people will blow up (Like Gamespot blowing them up to 720p,) or 800x240 shots which just show the same thing side by side at a different angle. 800x480 is a lot easier to look at too on a bigger screen.
Anyway, Revelations looks far and above anything we saw on the Wii imo. It could easily pass off as a current-gen console game and it even looks better than RE5 in some areas. (Then again, I think it looks even better than Vita games, so I could just be screwed in the head.) Also with SM3DL, it too was rushed. I believe it was their technical director who stated due to time constraints, they couldn't polish it more and get it running at 60FPS. Comming from SMG1/2, you can easily tell the game was rushed (but it's still very fun.)
It doesn't have the raw computational power as the Wii, and I think it can't push as many polys, but there's more to graphics than that.
i never said the 3ds version was superior... i just said it wasnt much different than playing the vita version.

BTW, in case people missed it, Rayman Origins demo was outsourced which is why it was bad.
