So yeah, I'm gonna get Wii today (hopefully) but need to know a few little things:

1. Does the Wii include the saving storage device? I mean, previous gen both PS2 and NGC didnt had the memory cards and you had to buy them separately.

2. What would be the best game to start off with? I was thinking about SMG, but SSBB and RE4 realy couth my eye too.

3. Can you store music on it? Just wondering....

4. I know the online is based off friend codes, but can you save them on the console and then chat with them?

5. I heard you can use your NGC controller and classic controllers to play games. Does all games support that or only a few?

6. What kind of batteries are required for Wii controllers?

Thanks for help.

1. Yes, the Wii includes storage and you can use SD cards if that storage runs out. 2. Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Punch Out, Wii Sports Resort, Smash Bros Brawl, Resident Evil 4 3. No 4. You can chat through messages, and I'm pretty sure you can voice chat with the Wii Speak peripheral. 5. Some games support them, some do not. 6. Two AA batteries. Your best bet would be to buy rechargeable batteries.

If you're looking for a single player game: Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime Trilogy (best value)

If you're looking for a multiplayer game: Mario Kart, Smash Bros Brawl, or Wii Sports Resort.

The Wii game with the best online multiplayer by far is Mario Kart Wii. I just can't get enough of that game.

Oh, one more thing. If you're planning on downloadng lots of old-school NES, SNES, N64, Sega Master, Genesis, Neo-Geo, or Turbo-grafix 16 games from the Virtual Console, then I suggest purchasing a high-capacity SD card to go with your Wii. You can download Virtual Console games directly to the SD card and play them from the SD card without filling up your Wii's internal memory.

EDIT: The Wii supports up to 32 GB SDHC cards.

Metroid Prime Trilogy. RE4 should be about $20, so you could probably pick that up as well.
