I've been doing some research on old last-generation games that I never really got to play, and I stumbled across a fairly well-known gem called Black. Yes, it is available for both the PS2 and it's more powerful competitor, the Xbox, but unlike PS2 ports of other big-budget multiplatform titles, this shooter was nearly identical to the Xbox version.
Heck, the game was so ambitious, graphically, that it ran on the PS2's meager hardware what was unseen on just about any other contemporary title. Check out this video and tell me what you think, and keep in mind that the clip doesn't even show the full extent of the games many pseudo next-gen graphical tricks. Pay extra attention to the particle effects, fog, lighting, and the emulated (but convincing) depth of field during reloading, which are even more apparent in many other "extended" clips.
