Well, the first is on sale in Toy's R Us, and the 2nd game sold incredibly well.
Which means you have no excuse to not buy it.
Especially since we now know that they are working on an english translation to what looks to be the best in the series. I do have an excuse for not buying it. I live in Sweden, and if I find this game at all, it's going to be expensive.

Great news, hope it's true because I'm a big fan of the Phoenix Wright/Ace Attorney games. And Litchie, I live in Sweden too and it's very easy to buy cheap imported games. If you're worried about customs, go for a company which is located inside EU and there's no risk at all. I enjoyed the first game, and thought it was such an innovative game.  The second I haven't bought yet, I am thinking of waiting for the price to drop and find it in a bargain bin (or I might just wait for a used copy somewhere). The third game if it turns out well, will hopefully end up being the best.Â
With the second game, what do you all think about the psyche locks? Tedious, or does it improve upon the gameplay of the original?

Go-DOT, Go-doh, God-oh, God-ot? Actually, something like Gh-DOH.
From what I've heard, 1 & 2 were just like GBA ports. So, it doesn't have much touch screen integration. Is 3 being developed for the DS? So, it will use more of the DS's functionality.

Wow @ the sales for the original. :shock: I think the fact that it was hard to find for a while really gave Phoenix Wright staying power. It got a lot of publicity when no one could find it anywhere and it was going for double the MSRP on Ebay.

Case 5 in the first game was made from the ground-up for the DS, so the touch screen is used frequently in the investigation parts. 3 will likely be a straight port like 2 was, but the 4th game is a 100% DS game.
i really really enjoyed the first game. i haven't picked up the 2nd one yet, i'm hoping for the price to go down before i pick it up. but that's great news that the 3rd one is also being translated :)
Yay! More PW! I'm kind of bummed by the fact that Gyakuten Saiban 4 will have a new Main Character. I don't know if I'll get used to it, but who knows, right ?
