22, gonna be 23 in April.
I play it all the time, I collect FBA and DS games. It's awesome and I love it. I have no shame playing it infront of others.

[QUOTE="dustopants"]same here  im a gamer form the womb to the tombI suppose you could call a 19 year old an adult, at least... that's what my demeanor tells me...
I used to be embarassed to bring my DS out in public... but... that was back when i had the old skool original pre-lite DS...
then I got a nice Crimson-Black DS Lite...
it's not so bad, most people know what a DS is... and if they don't, they just think it's a big cellphone...
but, even the ladies know what a DS is, thanks to Brainage, and various SIM games...

Well, i'm 19 and my father is 45 and he likes Mario Kart DS a lot, he still calls the NDS a "toy", but it doesn't stop him from playing.
We actually don't play in public, but not because we are ashamed of playing, but because while we are walking around, we prefer to talk, look around, etc. Myself when i pick the bus to go to the university, i prefer to just watch the streets and organize my throughs. We usually play at home and sometimes we show the DS to people that come to visit us, providing that they have at least a little of interest in these stuff, i mean, there is no point in showing something if the person is not interested at all.
Also i like playing alongside my cousins when we travel and get the family reunited, none of my uncles (30+ adults) has showed any kind of weird look toward it at all.
I feel like we need a support group or something.
People look at me like I pulled out some GI Joes or something when I pull out my ds in public. Not to mention crawling through crowds of little kids in the DS games section of any store.
Luckily it seems like "adult" titles are becoming more common.
Yes, matter of fact most people i know that own ds's are adults.I feel like we need a support group or something.

Haven't had that problem and I'm 26 years old. Most people ask what game I'm playing if they see me with my DS. I used to play it while waiting for college classes to begin. Only thing I don't like is having to crawl over annoying little kids at Gamestop when I want to get a DS game. They don't know how to get out of people's ways so they don't get trampled on.

Yeah, i know exactly what you mean... these little kids are into the way all the time.Im 26 and I play the DS only because I want to see a Phantasy Star IV come out or a Shining Force title like the originals come to the DS. I have played all the FF titles on the DS and they all sucked. I am looking forward to Fire Emblem and might try Luminous Arc 2 or that Valkeriey game.Nakata1Omg, Phantasy Star IV on DS would rock, one of the best old rpgs that i've ever played, if Sega continue the PS series on the DS keeping the same quality as the PS IV, it would be simply awesome. (and yea, i know about phantasy star zero) Another old one that could work well is Warsong, one of the most amazing RTS/rpg mixed genre that i've ever seen, it practically can make FF XII: Revenant Wings eat dust
[QUOTE="jrhawk42"]Adults only play games like Brain Age and Big Brain Academy.I feel like we need a support group or something.
