after a long break from the game i was determined to beat it this weekend. Alot of work was put into and then came the ending. It didn't turn out so great :( square enix should've done a better job on it. Did the rest of you guys liked it?

i didnt really like it. to be honest, i didnt really care for the story at all. most of the game has no purpose. the pattern was extremely predictable.1) Luso says "hey!, i've never been there before!" 2) you go there and 3) SUPRISE! more monsters to fight.

The sidequests are much better than the actual story. Duelhorn should have been the focus.

I've been thinking about getting this game and I wanted to know, how good is the story? I hear it isn't all that great, but really it can't be all that bad can it? I've heard people compare it to Final Fantasy III so I just wanted to get a second opinion. If the main story is horrible are there interesting side stories and whatnot? Is it still a great game regardless?

There are several side stories that make up for the main story (which isn't horrible, it's better than the first FFTA). The game is still great, and it will last a long time.

The story is weak. You must like the battle board where you move on a square grid to fight. Because this is repeated over & over. So, if you need a real good story to like a game this is not for you.

The only Tactics game that is worth getting came out 11 years ago, Final Fantasy Tactics. If you have a PSP, you can buy the remake, War of the Lions, on it.

definitely last you a long time. i poured almost 50 hours into it, did about 1/3 of all the quest and for the main story.

I have tactics for PSP also. I don't like how its run. Story might be great but control in tactics advance is way better. that's just my opinion though. I'm looking forward to Luminous Arc 2
