Nope, far from collecting dust. I'm using it to type now. I love the VC games, and I still play the games I got with it at launch. I am also enjoying renting games like Godfather.

which console is booming right now? they are all just waiting. this is turning into the same BS the movie industry puts us through. they will be better remembered when it releases close to the oscars.mov

Let me start by saying I have a Wii and I like it alot, but I'm not going to sit up here like some blinded fanboy. The only reason why the Wii sold so much is because of two things.. 1) it's cheaper than the other two systems... so of course it's going to sell more 2) the Wii remote.

And that right there are the main two reasons why people brought the Wii over the other 2 systems but then you have some rare cases where people own all three systems so that doesn't apply to those who have more than one system.

And let's be honest people....there really isn't any games for the Wii right now but that will change soon,I for one can't wait until Brawl comes out.

Alot of people usually have a similar problem to yours. So, you get your Wii have fun for a couple of hours/days, then you can't be bothered - you will get back into it when you get a new game or you want to try it again. Trust me get a game you want play it, it wont be dusty anymore :P.

Mine's collecting dust right now, but only because the wife and kids keep hogging the TV. Otherwise I'd be playing Mario Strikers Charged online right this minute.

Hadn't touched it in a long while until Strikers came out, it'll keep me busy until Mass Effect or Bioshock are released.

No my Wii doesn't collect dust your thinking of a vacum cleaner. My Wii plays top class games like Stikers,Zelda,Paper Mario and Rez 4 WITH 20 years ofgames in the VC such as Mario 64,Gunstar heroes and streets of rage 2. I don't think my Wii will ever collect dust!
