Anyone Else Forced Themselves To Finish KH RE:Coded Just For The Story?

I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, and I knew the mess I was getting into when I bought RE:Coded. I knew I wouldn't fully enjoy it and even hate it gameplay-wise but I still played it for the story. I can see what people who beat the game mean when they say they wish they just watched the clips on Youtube. And I sorta did the same. By the time I got to the final area of the game I couldn't take it anymore and decided "Forget it, I got the most outta the game, let me Youtube the rest". And sure enough Youtube showed me how I had gone through 95% of it.

If you're a fan of the franchise's plot then you simply cannot ignore the game, you'll feel obligated to experience the story. I feel like SquareEnix tortured me...

I did it for both of the DS titles. Birth by Sleep, I actually wanted to beat.

I am a huge KH fan I knew to stay away from it, while 358/2 days wasn't awful it did show that the DS dosn't lend it self easily for KH style gameplay (which isn't that great to begin with really) and I just had a gut feeling that the story would largey be kinda pointless just like 358/2 days, now I haven't played the game yet (waiting for price drop) but I feel I was right in my decision.
but hey, on the side story scale they are atlest 50/50, for me anyway

To be honest I have a hard time to go through any portable KH, I think they are all horrible, BbS is the best though :S I try to get through them, but haven't started re:coded yet and stopped this 3xx days thing halfway through :S
