I played for about an hour yesterday night and I was impressed by the efforts it was put on it so far. Is one of the best looking third party games out there without a doubt.

Well, is not a game for everyone. Is an old school horror game, which I love. But if you don't like the likes of Silent Hill or pre 4 REs then i can'tt recommend you this game.

I didn't see it released anywhere. It's released in usa i suppose. Still on the fence with this one as i haven't seen a review yet either.

Well, reviewers gave Low 7s, 6s to all the true horror games this gen. So i don't trust them even a bit on this. Homecoming and the Penumbra's still are some of my favorite games this despite its metacritic score. This game is at 7 atm on gamerankings.

it was ment to ship yesterday but over half of the gamestops in my town didn't get it i guess someone screwed up in the warehouse to ship it but lucky enough i did get a copy and for the most part i am pleased with it its great to see survival horror making a comeback sadly with cheap action and fps horror games have nearly killed the horror game

I don't just look at the scores i see right through the reviewers don't worry about that :P

No, that's an action game.

An action game that will scare the **** out of you, therefore I will categorize it in the Horror genre. Only game that has ever scared me.

I'm not because it isn't out yet in Australia. However, I was plesantly surprised to see that it got a 7.5 on GS so, after having lost interest over the last few months, I may still get it when it comes out here. Seriously, we only just got Punch-Out.

Yes I know, but Dead Space Extraction is so hopefully they will be able to make you jump a couple times in the game.

I'm not much into Horror games but I really like the style of Cursed Mountain. And the "bad" graphics on the Wii help me alot about horror games :P

Yes I know, but Dead Space Extraction is so hopefully they will be able to make you jump a couple times in the game.

My thing with rail shooters is they seem better suited as party games with two or more people shooting together. Situations like that just aren't as scary, though they can be great fun. I also don't get as immersed in a game where I have limited control over the character. We'll see. I'm still extremely disappointed with the direction Dead Space Wii went. The game had so much potential. I almost hope it flops sales wise so other developers don't get the wrong idea. In any case, I think I'm going to pass on Cursed Mountain for now. Reviews are saying the controls are clunky, and to me a Wii game is pointless unless the controls are perfect. If I want clunky controls, I can just get a 360 or PS3.

they already did.. and the score/review is quite nice. Clasic horror survival for lovers of old-school sty/e. :D gonna get it next week (no time atm)

Wow, this game gets really good. The base camp part is very well done. The complains about the controls on the GS review are right though.

are the wiimote controls as unresponsive as the review says they are?

that was the only thing I was disapointed at when I saw the reivew but I'm still going to pick it up eventually. I just wanna know if the thrusting controls are bad at all (for swinging it up and down or soemthing)

The forward movement for the nunchuck is hard to pull. Required to dispelling some ghosts. You can also axe them though.
