Anyone else waiting for a new DK adventure game?

I've been waiting for a follow up since DK64. I loved that game and I hope Rare is able to work something out with Nintendo and produces another game. Those music DK games don't really count, IMO.

Na, not really. I was never a big fan of DK outside of Smash Bros.

I'd much rather have a Wind Waker 2 than a DK. Well actually, I'd much rather have WW 2 than any other Nintendo game/franchise right now.

I'm always looking forward to a new DK.. the DKC trilogy was amazing for me, and Diddy Kong is pretty much my favorite hero ever, so hopefully someday Nintendo indulges me:P

i would be interested in a new dk game, but i am not dying for one. i would love a ww2 as well.

I'm sure there will be one eventually, but I doubt Microsoft is going to lend out Rare to work on rival 1st party games. I'd like to see EAD Tokyo try another hand at DK. Jungle Beat was great and with the experience they've gained from working on Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, I think they can make an amazing Donkey Kong game.

Yeah, I've been waiting for a while, too.

But I don't see why nintendo would need to work something out with Rare (which would never happen, BTW.) They could easily make the game themselves, or send it to another studio.
